Trump supports abortion though. He picked Vance to balance that out. Trump has written about it for decades. He is a New Yorker and ex-Democrat. He has said numerous times that the goal should be to make abortion unnecessary but a personal choice. ("Safe, legal, and rare") If a state wants to ban it, it can do so democratically, but at least the people had their will represented.
