  • Terry Atha : Hell Blazer Waltzer / Ark Speedway 1990s Built by UK manufacturer Maxwell currently owned & travelled by UK showman Terry Atha. In 1979 the ride was converted from an Ark/Speedway into a Waltzer, although the ride would switch between both guises throughout the 80s and into the 90s

    Great film ! Do you still get the motor bikes. ? Never liked them but loved the Waltzers.

      Sadly Speedways have been consigned to the past. very few exist today, and are never run at the insane speeds of the 60s 70s 80s and 90s.

      Glad they don't have them anymore as the were so unsafe. Showing my age when I was a teenager you could stand on the boards around them and the waltzes, sit on the railings at the side while they were going. Health and safety would have a field day now.

      @@irenemilligan3794 Speedways were far from unsafe. thats just your perception, the only accidents ever recorded on Speedways always came from the public pratting about. you always had one idiot who thought they could beat the machine. ... they couldnt.
