When I was a kid I would ride my bicycle all the way from The Bronx to see Jeff Sheridan perform. At the end of his show I would put a dollar in his hat and tell him how much I liked his show. He would usually shake my hand and one time after he shook it he folded my hand into a fist and when he unfolded it there were 3 foam balls in it. At that point I asked him if there was any way that he would teach me? He said yes but I would have to commit to practicing at least 5 hours a day. At that point in my life I was practicing my drumming close to 5 hours a day and there was no way I could do that as well. The music turned out OK,but I never forgot him,and to this day I love a good street magician.
I’m very jealous of this interaction, although I feel like you made the right decision focusing on the drumming as that actually can get you to be a normal person 😂
Yes would love to see you do this routine. I am a big fan of rope magic it's my opening to my stand up routine mostly I do Sydini cut and restored with the professor nightmare. Years a friend of mine who is clown magician taught me Jeff Shearton routine My friend also performs silently and this routine is a masterpiece in his hands the other great rope routine I love is George sands rope sensational oh and let me not forget Pop Hayn the Mongolian pop knot "pixes make a lot of noise"

This is not to negate anything that he did,but the Central Park crowd that stopped to watch him,back in the say,was a touristy/hippie very respectful audience. Because he was so captivating at what he did without ever saying a word.
I really like your breakdown, good stuff, maybe do more.
I have never been a big fan of rope magic, but I love anything Sheridan does.
