    I hate when people bring up the whole Coors advantage argument. He clearly shows he can hit, with 213 hits and a 300+ average. He can also field pretty well and is quick, can't take away this man's skill

      FilthyCuck He can hit, but not at the level his Coors field numbers would insinuate. His home/road splits are ridiculous

      Klxws Just took a look at his home & away splits and HOLY shit, you're pretty spot on there, it's about a 120 point difference. Oh well

      FilthyCuck yeah but there is are 3 more games on the road and 40 more at bats on the road splits only are accurate if u look at everything

    I always found it funny how people like to discredit hitting at Coors but praise Kershaw etc without mentioning the pitcher friendly park.

      drokatm Yeah. People also forget the opponent gets to hit at Coors or Yankee Stadium too.... Playing half and half home or away makes it balance out.

    One of the greatest seasons ever by a leadoff hitter. Fuck the coors advantage, this guy is a special player.

    If Stanton wasn't doing his thing in 2017, I think Charlie would have had a legitimate shot at NL MVP.

    I lucked out HARD when I auto-drafted Blackmon, Judge, and Trout for my fantasy league. Managed to pull first place on their hitting alone, 'cause my pitching was junk.

    I don’t know much about baseball I went to this video after seeing a Rockies game where Blackmon hit 2 home runs and I was super impressed but explain to me in detail the coors advantage I understand teams hit better in that park and have an easier time hitting the ball but how so is the field smaller or what makes it an easier park to hit in than any other field

    • @_michael_g
      @_michael_g 6 лет назад

      Luke Logan the stadium is a mile high in elevation (5200 feet) so the ball carries more due to the thin air. it helps guys hit better 9/10 times

    • @pratt17648
      @pratt17648 6 лет назад

      the mlb humidifies the balls before/during each game to make up for the thin air. people just seem to hate colorado. arizona will be humidifying balls for the first time ever this 2018 season. People also complain Coors field is a big outfield

    Blackmon is a terrible defender, but his bat more than makes up for that. In fact, I think the Rockies would do well to transition him to 1B. He is 6'3 220 so he is a big target for Nolan, and his bat doesn't care where he plays in the field.

    4:12 wasn’t an inside the Parker that’s why Granderson played it so slowly I watched this game it hit over the orange line

      He wants to win. Rockies won’t ever win the division. Especially with how good LA was in 2017. He’s going to the Dbacks or Dodgers to play LF
