It's tough to get hype about Mario montages anymore. Once you've seen one Mario F-Air spike, you've seen them all.

Eh. I personally don't think this is LZ's best, but that's just my view.
Garreth Allen that's one of my only problems with sm4sh, that for almost all characters there's a play style that is pretty much set in stone, it's really hard to deviate from the generic combos because almost nothing else works.

Yeah, it has its complexity while still remaining simple. Smash 4 is just straight up fun. It may not be the most competitive Smash Bros, but damn is it a good time.
Exactly why I think it's the best of the series. Sure Melee may be better for competitive play, but a lot of hardcore fighting game players seem to forget that other people like to have fun too.
MelodyWarp I just love how combos work in smash 4. People really get creative to make things work. Well, Mario is pretty simple but things like Megaman's metalblade z-drop >footstool>pellet jablock>repeat>z-drop>uppercut, that shit just looks so amazing. Melee doesn't even come close to that hype for me.
Eh, I think footstools are the antithesis of creative and hype honestly, not to discredit the entirety of Smash 4's combo potential but that's how I view things

One funny thing I like doing as Mario is to either edgeguard, keep good distance from opponents, make characters fall off of edges, or possibly gimp people with a fireball.

@ThatYahoo I mean, it still is. I did notice the hit box got smaller. But it still doesn't stop it from being one of the best moves to perform combos with. Atleast for me. I had no trouble playing as Mario.
@ThatYahoo never tried that in a long time. I always thought opponents would just air dodge as soon as I land my d tilt.

Oh hey. I was fine with the other ones but the mario one ticks me because I've seen most of these jokes everywhere. The Dr. Mario one was a lot more enjoyable because last time i checked it didnt really play on any gimmick that's used everywhere.
I dont know I just think Mario doesnt bring anything new to the table when it comes to making montages of him, unlike characters such as Toon Link or Greninja where there's a lot of material.
