That movie had a lot of unforgettable scenes but that one really stuck with me.
I’m so glad my first time hearing this song was through Titane. That scene made me feel feelings I’ve rarely ever felt from a movie. Every time I listen to this song, I get somewhat taken back to those feelings i felt during that scene
SAME! When i hear this, i think of how different they both were, yet how close they get. It was a gorgeous movie about finding love and the struggle for it all the while our identities a total mess.
make it three. Something...truly new and indescribable about the whole experience of the second half of the movie, and this is the pivotal part. Can't relate it to anything else, it just felt so genuine

I've lost my dad, recently. Previously I had lost my older brother and my mother. It's not easy. This song helps me a lot. I hold tight to music for it's the only honest and sincere of coping with feelings without having to talk about it. Thank you, future islands. I don't want to die anymore.
Grandparents died this year. They raised me. The person i could call a Friend took his.life last week. I felt lonely all my lire, now i'm just alone. Yup in 5 years time i lost my dad, oldest brother and mom to. Every day u think what the hell just happened. Life continues but the gap stays.. His music comforts me greatly.
I fear the day I'll lose my dad. I lost my step dad and that was painful enough.

I was watching a French movie stoned, a track hits my ears, I come here and then I have one of the greatest musical experiences of my existence. Having never heard this song before is like not knowing the Grand Canyon exists and seeing it for the first time. What a masterpiece.

2023 this song still bangs. This band/performance/filming is amazing. I remember reading an interview, the man wanted to write music that would stand the test of time. I think he nailed it.

This was the first Future Islands song I heard, someone used it over top of a bunch of clips from Star Trek oddly enough. I loved it so much I had to find out who it was. Still my fave song by them.

William Cashin is one of my absolute favourite bass players. Future Islands would be so different without him. They use such sparse but brilliant synth and guitar riffs that his basslines always CARRY every song they have. He doesnt necessarily do anything too crazy but he always finds the absolute perfect bassline to complement the song and the tone to match. A genius.
