I had an interview on Tuesday. I found out I got the job the next day. It was my very first interview in my entire life and got a job offer for 65k starting out. So for you guys that are worried, just try to relax, be vocal, be confident, and smile a lot! By the way, I watched this video the night before my interview.
I watched this 100 times before applying for my lead job, and BOOM I got it! :D. Now I'm re-watching this for my new interview today at a different job for more pay. Lets get it!
Every time I have had to prepare for an interview, I ALWAYS refer to this video (the rest is usually just some person talking) I love the contrast to how most people would show up in an interview, in comparison to the way that you should show up as your best self. And every time I have shown up to an interview AFTER watching this video, I get the job. When i don't refer back to this video i tend to not get the job lol
I'm glad I clicked this vid, I was worried I'd be bored but it was surprisingly charming and lightheartedly entertaining -and may I add, helpful. Thanks for the upload.
I had an interview today with an architectural firm and I was hired on the spot thanks to being able to answer questions well with a lot of help from this video thank you for posting this
Oh my god this is so cute. I have an interview in an hour so I'm watching this as a warm up type deal. It helps a lot. The do's and don't's of interviews!
Just had a job interview this morning..a managerial position...I watched this video like over and over last night... helped me a lot ...just hoping I get the job
This is the best job interview video, I have seen.. and really worth watching.... and it was like watching a movie... and message was so implied and clearly spelled out. Thanks to the team for putting such a nice well researched stuff and all the team members were very convincing and impressive for sure.
Sad part is: if you are an "introvert" most jobs overlook you right away. Networking is a nightmare - it seems everyone is only about themselves, such as what you can do for them, or perhaps if you can be a character reference for them. Granted few people will actually give you a reference, but during the interview - your quiet demeanor is a major "no" to them. Why is it so bad that I keep to myself? Bragging, lying, and who you know have become the norms for interviews. Why would you want to hire someone who is pretending - confidence does not mean they know what they are doing.
+Mia Tatman I was once asked why I was so quiet in an interview. The guy could barely speak proper english and he was so rude, ugh. The interview I have this week will be the first one since then. :-:
+AlwaysInTheShade Me too. I failed my last interview because I was too quiet for them and tomorrow I have another one and I really don't know what to do. I can't change my personality over night.
Victory of the Truth Honestly if they don't pick you for the job because they think you're quiet, it probably just wasn't right for you. Practice answering your questions beforehand, feel prepared, and you'll do great. My other interview went well and I got the job! Keep trying and you'll find someone who appreciates your personality for their company
This is a great video. This video is using a funny concept approach to allows to remember details needed to passing your upcoming interview. Viewers, zone in and focus on the questions & answers portions; you soon realize they provided you some solid answers. Regarding the salary question, try not to avoid this question at all. Do your research on the role you applied for, such as sales agent, IT manager, etc. I use salary.com and gave them the rate that generated there. When the interviewer asks the open-ended question, ”Tell me about yourself.”... You remember do not mention stuff listed on your resume. This is not 30 seconds answer neither. It the sales pitch question to open up and impress the interviewer. If you wrote many excellent cover letters, that cover letter is your answer to this open-ended question. Just break down under 2 mins. I must likely repost this video to a larger audience to assist people in nailing their dream job. Good work.
I am going to an interview tomorrow, and this may help me a lot. I know self-intro part is to tell the recruiter your work experience, your accomplishment, your skills, your passions, etc. Not how old you are, where you were born or grew up, your favorite food, book or TY show...
Not all the tips provided here would actually work, i think that sometimes you just have to be yourself and answer the questions as best as possible. One important point to remember about being impressive is not trying to, but only trying to answer the questions as honest and to the point as possible.
After watching this video several times and practicing a bit before my interview, I was offered the position!! Thanks so much!!! Also don't forget to write a great follow up interview letter, whether it's an email or a paper letter. That's your chance to review your strong points and suck up a little to the interviewer. Good luck to you all!
I read an answer for a scenario on an application: if a fire broke out in the main entrance of the warehouse, what steps would you to take for safety and he wrote: "fu**ing big ones!" He was hired.
5 years go I was living in Spain and planning to move to London. I used to watch this video over and over again but I think my understanding was only of 35%. The dream of living in London became true and today, even if my english is not perfect, I'm happy seeing how much I progressed, now I watch this and understand basically everything 🤗. This video makes me feel nostalgic for what it represents to me 💪
The comparison between the bad answer and the perfect answer in an Interview. The most creative video of all when it comes to tips & techniques, I am very inspired & motivated at all!!
Out of the 12 videos I've watched, this has been the best. Easy to follow and it puts the interview into real situation. I have never been in an interview like this one, but it is a good generalization.
Introduce two characters with sexual tension you could cut a knife with. Provide excellent tips on do's and don'ts of job interviews, but forget to tell him that he needs to wear a suit and tie. Have one extremely awkward shot of the visibility of how the man is sitting on the grass. End charming video with poppy Christmas music.
No where in this this video does it mention dressing for professionally for the interview. This guy walks in with a sloppy shirt with long sleeves rolled up. Not exactly the appearance to land you the job.
this one is much much better and entertaining, might i add, to watch! I've watched some videos here and they seem to me they just don't have the appeal to catch my attention.. great creativity and now I'm confident enough for my interview!
This was one of the best demonstrations of what not to do and how to correct it ever, I really felt like I could take away from this the corrections and employ the fixes! It wasn't cheesy but very well done. Thank you -
whiteshadow59 Nah she just wants the D. her first line was "looking for me?" and the 5th line was "And we can have lunch together". They do have great chemistry though...
I enjoyed this video sooooooooooooo much. Thank you! It was captivating, engaging, enlightening and very educative. I loved the concept. absolutely brilliant!
I'll be interviewing for a higher position for the company I work for in a few days. pray for me or send me good energy if you don't believe in prayer. I'll take either.
This is why I prefer AmE and not BE, I find it difficult to understand when an English woman or man speaks quickly. The problem is they always speak too quickly ...

I thank you for this generic post. Sincerely! I've watched so many that are geared toward professionals and college grads it made me sick! I'm just a blue collar gal with an extensive work history. I can't relate to college papers and project manager types!
This was one of the more helpful videos and made me feel much more comfortable about the whole process. My interview a week ago was pretty awful, but I am looking forward to my new one tomorrow now :) .
Very arrogant how everyone's talking, about the accent she carries. What does the accent have to do with an interview? Why click on a video, if you're not going to listen? This video was made to have those, who want to actually learn, listen to what is being said and stated with facts. Things like Do's and don't. Why does one's have to be such pathetical, arrogant and immature people? This video is made to show what to do and, what not to ever do. She is simply explaining those facts, to someone that didn't know anything. How does that simply state, she wants the D? I didn't come to mind that any lady would, want the D if she was just explaining the instructions of opportunities in life to succeed for job careers out their. Gosh! people need to grow up and listen, if not then exit the video and let those, who want to learn click on it.
Josh Jensen Not if he got that job right out of college and hasn't kept up with new interview practices since then. Things change all the time and most people don't practice interview skills until they're looking for a job.
I absolutely love this video! It's not only really useful but it demonstrates what it means and points out what u do wrong and hpw to fix it all in an entertaining way and the acting is really good and doesn't make u cringe. Thank you so much i hope it helps with my interview today 😊
He's underdressed (button your shirt, stud), a bit casual for an interview .. but .. i found this dialogue IMMENSLY helpful .. the contrast between the two interview styles, really highlights what a good interview comes across as .. and a not so good one. This is one of the BEST mock interviews I've seen yet on RUclips. A+++. (she should ditch the banana clip though. I hate those things! LOL)
Has anyone wondered how come the woman has spent so much time out with this guy? doesnt she have anything to do? or her confident brought her to the point she can do whatever she wants at her job position? or probably she was fired that same day and they were looking for another person to take her position. Is that the reason why she is giving him advices? and in fact if that's so...wouldnt they be bad advices? hahahaha don't trust in her David!
Cool gave me a lot of ways to rephrase what I have been saying in response to these questions, sometimes though they do throw you a curve ball. Just in the nick of time also, I have a job interview with AT&T on Wednesday ... this is going to help me so very much.
Thanks dude! I'm gonna face a challenging new job interview within a few weeks and this msg. made me change into a good mood, so I fell I'm gonna make it!! Best wishes to you too!

Best video I've seen on how to prepare for an interview
Just got done watching this video. Now wish me luck on my second interview tomorrow :)
Out of all the movies I've seen on youtube on this subject, this by far the best developed and useful.
This video help me get a job a year ago. Look at it again to help with another interview. This is a really good video.

i looveee this. I'm a introvert and find myself having to be someone else in order to get the job. 👎

The woman is charming, a quite informative video. Thanks

This video still rocks even after 11 years.
Awesome vid! But we all know what they did after lol
what did they do?
I’ve watched this before my last 3 job interviews, and was offered each one
So... An interview is all about acting?
Sounds HR people like this way
HR is never about the "human" part, it's all about the company.
I agree with your opinion. People can get what they want if they tell some white lies.
YES. the oscar goes to... every person who's acted through interviews
It's been almost a decade and this video is still useful. Thanks.
Great Video! Though was he being interviewed as a gogo dancer? Where's his shirt and tie?
One of the best resource for those who are preparing for an interview.
Many thanks
Why can't every English woman have the same lovely voice as this actress?
Out of the 12 videos I've watched, this has been the best. Easy to follow and it puts the interview into real situation. I have never been in an interview like this one, but it is a good generalization.
I hate that freaking, "tell me about yourself" question. Grrrr!!!!
+Bitch Aholic Me too. It's the worst.
I know this comment was a year ago, so before answering I'll first ask... do you still hate this question?
Ben Aholic yeah me too...
I absolutely adore the acting in this video. So many thinking pattern examples of fixed and growth mindset.
you have to make sure ur dress for success on a interview.
Although I enjoyed both actors, I really like the lady actress, she was very good at coming across genuine. Thanks again

Recipe for success, baby lmao
dubbie17 It served me well. I recently achieved a new, swanky management position...but sans sexual tension :/
Congrats to you, sir! The uncomfortable sexual tension will come later, I guess lol
this was good to see what ppl mean by how you make an impression to bosses etc. and it shows how attitude is important on many levels. Thank You! :)
No where in this this video does it mention dressing for professionally for the interview. This guy walks in with a sloppy shirt with long sleeves rolled up. Not exactly the appearance to land you the job.
I’m watching this ,because I have an interview today at my job for a new position. I pray I do well 🙏🏻
so helpful! :) love it.
this one is much much better and entertaining, might i add, to watch! I've watched some videos here and they seem to me they just don't have the appeal to catch my attention.. great creativity and now I'm confident enough for my interview!
Chinos and an open shirt for the win.
:) and don't forget to roll up your sleeves either!
Fuck it, I'm just turning up in sweatpants!
k1348 I geniunely have purple sweats, I'm going for it!

Word she do
+Ayman Izzaz no they're just friends. I don't think this is real tbh
+Zano282 no duh it's not real. They're acting.
I enjoyed this video sooooooooooooo much. Thank you! It was captivating, engaging, enlightening and very educative. I loved the concept. absolutely brilliant!
am i the only one that ships them?
Thank you for sharing us on how to have a positive visualization and actual interview. Giving the good and right answer the question.
I'll be interviewing for a higher position for the company I work for in a few days. pray for me or send me good energy if you don't believe in prayer. I'll take either.
I watch this before any interview, I love it! 💖☺💖☺💖☺💖 wish me luck!
Question: why wasn't he wearing a suit in the interview?
he really didn't want the job...
Because you don't wear a fucking suit for a position that pays $50K/year.
You don't have to always. A plain shirt is business casual. It depends on what job you are applying.
@@vitaminb4869 3 years later, and I bet you are still looking for work....

The girl's pretty
Goood amount of quiet confidence goes a long way and ability to communicate
I thank you for this generic post. Sincerely! I've watched so many that are geared toward professionals and college grads it made me sick! I'm just a blue collar gal with an extensive work history. I can't relate to college papers and project manager types!
I could listen to her talk all day.
She's totally flirting.
Is that where your focus is
This was one of the more helpful videos and made me feel much more comfortable about the whole process.
My interview a week ago was pretty awful, but I am looking forward to my new one tomorrow now :) .
Guy sounds just like Edward Norton
Beautifully executed. Well articulated, great chemistry between the pair, highly informative and even better, entertaining. Top points!
She's not going back to work
thank u , i like this format very much . help to hear the opnion of a sharp witty lady

yah you said it people can be so immature...and completely miss the point.
great video tho really inspiring
This video is the ultimate yoga/pilates video for the nervous before the interview.
This guy's in his 30's, you'd think he'd know a bit more about job interview etiquette.
It is an example.
Early 30s. Age is just a number and it's an example.
Josh Jensen Not if he got that job right out of college and hasn't kept up with new interview practices since then. Things change all the time and most people don't practice interview skills until they're looking for a job.
