Μαραθιάς και Σάντα Μπάρμπαρα στο νότο είναι δύο γειτονικές αμμώδεις παραλίες, μήκους περίπου τεσσάρων χιλιομέτρων, αποτελούν τη φυσική συνέχεια του Αγίου Γεωργίου. Είναι προσβάσιμες οδηγώντας μέσα από το χωριό Περιβόλι και ακολουθώντας τις πινακίδες, η απόσταση από την πόλη της Κέρκυρας είναι περίπου 30 χιλιόμετρα. Κανείς δεν ξέρει ακριβώς πού είναι τα όριά τους (οι ντόπιοι φιλονικούν γι ‘αυτό!), αλλά γενικά το βόρειο τμήμα ονομάζεται Μαραθιάς και το νότιο Santa Barbara. Αν δείτε μια πινακίδα στον κεντρικό δρόμο που δείχνει το δρόμο για τη Μάλτα ή την παραλία Μάρτα απλά να θυμάστε ότι είναι το ίδιο μέρος με διαφορετικό όνομα. Η παραλία είναι καλά οργανωμένη, με πολλά εστιατόρια και προσελκύει πολλούς επισκέπτες, αν και ο χώρος στάθμευσης είναι αρκετά μικρός για όλα τα οχήματα που φτάνουν εκεί.
Marathias and Santa Barbara to the south are two neighboring sandy beaches, about four kilometers long, are the natural continuation of Agios Georgios. They are accessible by driving through the village of Perivoli and following the signs, the distance from the city of Corfu is about 30 km. No one knows exactly where their boundaries are (the locals quarrel about it!), But generally the northern part is called Marathias and the southern Santa Barbara. If you see a sign on the main road showing the road to Malta or Marta Beach just remember that it is the same place with a different name. The beach is well organized, with many restaurants and attracts many visitors, although the parking space is quite small for all vehicles that arrive there.
