CYPHER SATURDAYS in NORRISTOWN back in 2001 used to be lit 🔥. This was a bi-weekly live cypher event that I hosted at the Sounds Of Norristown record store. Every other week I would invite rappers from all over Norristown, Philly, and beyond to come out and grab the mic. Some great cyphers and even battles took place. This event had a nice run and was always anticipated, and always competitive.
This was the first one that was held on 10/6/01. Rappers included Peedi Crakk, Indy 500, Dot Dubb, Double, NIJ, Clay, PR, Gillie, Twiz, Speedi, Vern, and more! Enjoy!

lol....... i was in the beginning of becoming an OLD HEAD in 2001, lol.... Because i just turned 30 YEARS OLD in 2001 ...
So i represent more of the 1980's & 90's eras of HIPHOP, the 1980's RUN DMC & the 1990's WUTANG CLAN hiphop generations.
So around that time , i was looking at those 2000's Rappers as the NEW SCHOOL HEADS taking over for the next Generation of HIPHOP, & my OLD SCHOOL Rappers i was a fan of had to unfortunately take a back seat & let the new heads have their time :(
