trxmh Thanks bro 🤜🤛🤝 I could not agree more!!! - to be honest, it was watching your Savage vids that got me hooked again on this awesome machine - definitely a keeper- thanks for the inspiration man 🤝⛽️🔥
Garrett Feury Bro that’s awesome - sounds great 👏 👌🤝 nice to here from another Savage brother 🤜🤛cannot wait to get mine running - will be posting another vid soon ⛽️🔥🚗💥
Very cool unboxing I had the original Savage X as a first nitro truck. I’m lately starting to get back into nitro and have my old rs4 3 still, that I’m reviving. And I have a Kyosho Inferno Neo 3.0 1/8 buggy that’s a lot of fun
longboardguy Awesome bro and thank you 😊 👏 nitro is my all time favourite part of the hobby - it’s what I started with and it will be what I end with haha!! Can’t go wrong with the Kyosho inferno range - great buggies 🤝⛽️🔥💥🚀
Have to be honest after owning lots of savage/XL and different monster trucks ,Always thought that the tamiya TNX 5.2r was the better vehicle , not just faster but made from better quality materials .
Sorry late to this It looks absolutely! epic Question if you know the answer So it’s impossible to get them currently over here in the US If someone from the United States buys one from a UK hobby shop can they use it over here? The fact being there’s a difference between the UK & the US when it comes to voltage, watts, and frequency. I would have to thing the charger for the servos would kit he able to work here Not really interested in having to purchase an adapter Well if you know Thanks
You know where I could purchase one of these? Impossible to find one in the states. I have a 10 yr old savage 5.9 and would purchase either one if I could find where to buy.
2 Shoes In the UK, they sometimes have them in stock on the Wheelspin Models website or the Modelsport UK website and I’m sure they do international shipping (well....in normal times) I was very lucky to find this brand new gathering dust in my local hobby shop - it’s such a shame as HPI used to be such a force at one time regarding their parts support and product availability 🤝💥⛽️🔥🚀
@@inngotrcexperience6716 thought so thats my local hobby shop too, thats where I got my hpi firestorm and ftx carnage. Have you got any tips for fine tunning the engine? Mine gives me trouble sometimes..
Nitro is much more fun but they go out of commission quite often. Humidity, temperatures and terrains all these need to be factored. I've wasted more over 600$ on a single Nitro Buggy. Now it's just sitting under my bed with a dead engine. If I ever get back to this hobby, I'll be switching to electric.
Awesome truck man! HPI Savage X 4.6 is my all time fav monster truck.

Gavin Hallett Yes, South Wales - it was Fish’n Things Skewen :)
Ah brilliant. They may have one. I’ll contact them. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
Can i ask how much somone would pay for one of those these days ?

Did you came back to the hobby?
@@fruitycoconut nah, expenses are too much for a college student like me to keep. Although I sure would like to get back into it one day.
@@ray4493 I understand. I was in the same situation. Had to wait after college to spoil myself
@@fruitycoconut yes, still even after having been out of the RC for years, I am tempted to go back whenever I see these cars.
@@ray4493 exactly what happened to me ahah
How much did you buy it for? And also does it come with reverse?
Can’t remember- roughly 400. No reverse
I got the .25 if I get the x imma put the 25 plates on it to me it looks better
What big block motor can I upgrade to?
No need - 4.6 works great
@@inngotrcexperience6716 Do you think it’s worth rebuilding an old spare engine I have or just buy a new one.
@@israelthegreat6118 buy a new one
You can use the 5,9 engine...
Can you use opti fuel for these as thinking of getting one
Yes you can - the RTR blend works well - these nitro star engines like oily nitro fuel - 20 or 25% I recommend 🤝🍻
Thanks mate how much did you pay for yours and do you get the rota started with every savage x

I found it at £469 is that good
