An MV dedicated for Ed Skrein who had so much fun playing the role with complete freedom given by the director Robert Rodriquez that he gave us the cool, suave, bad-ass villain that we so Love to Hate. The chemistry in the film crew (Robert, Rosa, Ed, James, Jon) is harmonious and rare that it produced such a spectacular film that a lot of fans have enjoyed. Hope they bring the same good energy in the sequel as they did in the 1st film. #AlitaSequel
At first I was skeptical when making the MV but was surprised at how it turn out great cause the epic song fits Zapans character very well.

cant wait for more! my favorite part was at 1:15 when the other hunter warriors chuckle at zapan. its like the beginning of the end for zapans career, notoriety, and sanity;) it all goes down from there and heralds in a "new age" that he isnt keeping up with. great storytelling!

And to answer your comment here along to the same detailed comment in my other vid at the same time (that's a mouthful): Yes i also agree, you have a good eye there to notice that "Welcome to the new age" part pretty much says that someones life is about to Dramatically Change "Tauntingly" (evil snicker). It's so fitting & feels like the starting crescendo that pretty much says "Your world is about to become upside down & Mine. Welcome, my little prey >:) ... (to my interpretation mainly)". The drums, the eerie instruments, the chants, etc gives out a very tribal yet hauntingly beautiful sound that fits very well to the hunter warrior world. Everytime that powerful chorus plays together along with the "clips", doesn't it just chills you to the "bone" (see what i did there? Lol) as it brings out your inner animality / alpha (or helplessness if you're looking thru hugo eyes) when you're watching the climaxes. As I mentioned before, the music i picked is already perfection itself (translation: my favorite LOL) I just happen to be lucky enough to notice it & able to make it click together with Alita to tell a good story as you mentioned hehe
Also as much as i love to make more vids, try not to get your hopes up too high. I only make a new one if ever my muse inspires me and she rarely shows up anymore ranging from weeks to months if you noticed my vid date differences lol But no worries, the next "fixed" vid is coming out in a few days. I also can't wait either for it to upload soon hehe ;3

=> i just watched the zapan "radioactive" video of yours and loved that! i think the words of the song match the themes you bring up from the movie! i loved the moment at 1:15 where the line is saying "welcome to the new age" and at the same time the video is showing zapan coming to the realization that his world is being flipped upside down by alita. as if the paradigm he has always known is being broken. when the clips of the other hunter warriors laugh at him for being talked down to by alita, he tries to hold onto what he knows, but as the viewer, we know that its all about to change! great storytelling without changing the motive for zapan as well as maintaining the themes of the song!
i think you have a deep understanding to the material and the meaning that yukito kishiro tries to give the readers! i cant wait for more videos:)))

You'll probably enjoy the next Zapan MV which is sort of a Sequel to this one? lol. It's as bad-ass but darker, you'll see one day. Been juggling with a few MV projects lately so it'll be awhile for me to upload em.
One of the projects is your request "Hit Me With Your Best Shot". I don't do request but it was my ex-scrapped project idea that you convinced me to continue anyways and it's surprisingly going very swimmingly hehe. So anticipate that as well one day, it's gonna be Awesome ^w^

I love zapan cause his actor played my favorite in Maleficent 2 but damn is zapan an ass.........yikes he's got a good one to those pants leave nothing to the imagination in that department

lol Yes he was such a hunk playing Zapan. He could have been a great male lead in Alita cause Ed Skrein is always such a charismatic actor in almost every film he plays in. And yet he is always been underrated and never really got his big break, it's such a waste of a wonderful talent. In the Alita Army fandom, they did a fan fic in one of thier streams where Zapan took Hugos spot as Alita's love interest. It was controversial for Alita loyalists. But for the imagination of Ed Skrein fans, he could have pulled it off spectacularly seeing that he already had an amazing character to work with.
Also my favorite role of Ed Skrein besides Zapan is Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones. That man is a true, selfless lover and an amazing warrior. It's such a shame he was recasted but it was for the best as we get to see his character at his best before the show got bad.
Yes, Ed Skrein did Zapan so well that you just love to hate him so much. It's perfect to build him up as the next villain (my most favorite villain in the manga) if they write him in the sequel hopefully.
