Thank God someone noticed! Good eye 😘 And no, it wasn't intentional. It's just a very lucky coincidence that those 2 videos intersected together. I did thought about maybe connecting them together like adding a link at the end of the SOS MV. But I wanted SOS to be its standalone MV since it ended at a very good note while this MV is a sad one. I like to favor more on the good memories over the bad ones 😉

Haha, Thank you very much. Roxette has always made powerful songs and again it just happens that this particular song harmonized very well with our Alita. It stirs up the strong emotions more to this already sad scene😉

So much emotions portrayed spectacularly in a very short time: every word, every action, especially every facial expression 😘 Chefs kiss. Actually that scene is very symbolic. It's like Hugo went to Confession then Alita, our angel, has forgiven him and given him salvation for his soul on that spot ... 😳 which happened in an abandoned Church, I just realized -OMG the Symbolism just got real! 🤣 I'm actually thinking of maybe doing this video again in a different version of just instrumental music (same song) & the flashbacks will be longer with dialogues. So it's less of a music video and more detailed flashbacks so we can see what was going thru Alitas thoughts. But we shall see in the future cause sometimes youtube doesn't allow me to post too much clips from a copyright film 😅

@@poninefreak3321 (Goggles song & summary of film) ooooh this song. So it came from this film? I've never seen it before but heard of it. The story is indeed a copy / paste of Romeo & Juliet lol. Although coincidentally, the ending of West Side Story is the same as Alita's: Only Romeo died 😅 Speaking of coincidence, the songs meaning of "Somewhere" is very similar to my MV "Anywhere" but you already knew that hehe. As a fan of Hugolita or Alihugo 😅 I do wish they would have went the route of the lyrics of those two songs. Which is they are given a 2nd chance to run & start anew away from those who challenges their love. But It's not meant to be though (cough-Figure4-cough) 😭 Still it makes a great fanfic if Hugo & Alita got together (or its stand alone film) because film Hugo is a great well written character & had great potentials to be Alitas love interest in my opinion.

If they allow to release a directors cut, I'm sure it'll be edited properly at a normal pace and includes the deleted scenes. We don't care if it's 3 hours long, the longer the dvd the better for us Alita fans lol Yeah Hugo's world is torn apart and he chose the right path with our angel. I bet it's heartbreaking for him to leave his friends behind for it. You can tell by the anger and tremble in his voice when he confronted Tanji but maybe that's just me. Lol What a very lucky coincidence. I was gonna upload it on the weekend either before Creeks or Alita Army's stream for fan exposure. But my perfectionism nags me again & again so I had to make more editing / tweaking. The upload date was like a boring, late, Sunday night for me but turns out to be a happy accident (like Bob Ross always say). So I'm very honored that I 'accidentally' set it up on your Alita anniversary and made it more meaningful hehe 😉👍 Also originally I was gonna use Alitas "Fuck your mercy" angry face as the screenshot cause it's perfect for Grewishkas 'eye' moment. But the MV is focused more on bloodlust, madness & obsession. So I chose that excited / bloodlust Alita screenshot cause it's a very unique expression & one of my favorites. To me that's probably her most evil looking expression than when she became martian Alita slowly toying with Vincent's life.

Thank you very much. I agree, pretty much all of thier fights together are epic 🤩👍 The MV is not perfect as I used a lot of blurry scenes due to zooming & lack of frame rates from the limited film. Those frustrates me for the longest time but I remembered Bob Ross's words "We don’t make mistakes-we have happy accidents". I realized it's so true, the mess actually goes well to the themes madness. So I applied it like shaky cam & zoom palooza to just go with the dance flow of Alita & Grewishka. As Grewishka once said "Dance, little flea!" 😆 (PS: I unfortunately muted that line cause it's too disruptive. The music is the main highlight & must take priority)

A hidden gem that reminds me of Alita 😆 I was very lucky enough to find his song by accident when I was bored searching randomly on RUclips or I never would have known he existed. Actually this is one of my most favorite MV as I love the song so much and look up to Hugo a lot (you can read the MVs origin in the vid description) so I feel a little guilty hogging this MV all to myself for 3 years 🤣

Thanks! Also lucky choice, your 1st pick is one of my best MV that goes so great with Alita. It's probably due to Evanescence's opera voice. The opera vibe and the films story harmonized together since they both tell very well a beautiful yet tragic story. It would be more fitting to the films genre if I picked an Evanescence song with more rock music as it's hardcore like the cyborgs. Sadly this is the only Evanescence song I know of that fits perfectly with the film... although it has a few awesome electric guitar in it so I guess it counts as a rock song😅🎸. Maybe the song "My Immortal" is more rock but the vision I had for it is impossible to make with my limited skills. But I was lucky enough to find a slow Rock song called "Broken" featuring Amy Lee (Evanescence singer) with Seether. The MV I made with that song has the same intensity as "Anywhere" that fits with Doc Ido and Chirens emotional turmoil. Someone finally gets it 🤣 Yes, the lyrics of this old favorite song of mine just fits perfectly well together with Hugos salvation by Alita's love❤️🎶 Fun fact: the official/original version of this song has a bit more upbeat feel to it. But this acoustic version has that perfect gloomy feeling that goes so well with the MV's theme. So the acoustic version is a must to get that MV vibe just right. My other videos that have songs that goes perfectly well together are: "Anywhere", "Angel", "I'll Remember", "How Do You Talk To An Angel". Those are tops ones and all I will mention since almost half of my videos are about Hugo and Alita cause I love thier story arc 😘 🎶

lol Yes he was such a hunk playing Zapan. He could have been a great male lead in Alita cause Ed Skrein is always such a charismatic actor in almost every film he plays in. And yet he is always been underrated and never really got his big break, it's such a waste of a wonderful talent. In the Alita Army fandom, they did a fan fic in one of thier streams where Zapan took Hugos spot as Alita's love interest. It was controversial for Alita loyalists. But for the imagination of Ed Skrein fans, he could have pulled it off spectacularly seeing that he already had an amazing character to work with. Also my favorite role of Ed Skrein besides Zapan is Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones. That man is a true, selfless lover and an amazing warrior. It's such a shame he was recasted but it was for the best as we get to see his character at his best before the show got bad. Yes, Ed Skrein did Zapan so well that you just love to hate him so much. It's perfect to build him up as the next villain (my most favorite villain in the manga) if they write him in the sequel hopefully.

Indeed her positive traits make her the perfect woman any man would love. I also agree that Alita and Hugos romance was criticized as fast, but I love it. To me, it's like a cybernetic version of Romeo and Juliet. Yes, the true love story between human and cyborg was a great touch and I love the angelic symbolism of Alita forgiving her lover Hugo who repented for his sins, "Repent and thou shalt be saved". Therefore Alita deserves the title "angel" because of that heartwarming deed. Also, I don't speak Spanish but I think you might enjoy 2 of my music video in Spanish version. A parte final do filme é qualquer coisa de fenomenal e a banda sonora é perfeita. Transmite-nos uma sensação agridoce. A Alita é uma guerreira mas à que custo. Perdeu o amor dela, mas ao mesmo tempo ganhou força para destruir quem pôs fim ao sonho do Hugo (e enganou-o) e precipitou o seu fim. Um dos meus filmes preferidos.

Yes, indeed. The 90's has some of the best songs full of heart & soul just like Alita. I love how Jon Secadas song is also a tribute for Rosa Salazar and Robert Rodriguez since they are all proud Hispanics who does thier best at thier craft showcasing the best of what they can do. Maybe one day I'll finish my Alita / Secada MV trilogy and finally make "If You Go" MV but I'm still brainstorming at that one hehehehehe 😅

@@CreekIndianAlitaArmy If you meant the church scene then yeah, just like Romeo & Juliet or Rose & Jack (Titanic), the level of sad emotion is high they really pull your heart string. Alita tears, helplessness panic, sad expression, etc hell even the tender caress of her powerful cyborg fingers soothing her dying lover looks so mesmerizingly very "human" (as Hugo described her), It is a perfect scene and one of my favorite as well ;3

Hello. Sorry but I have to decline your offer. It's a great song and it has great potential for an Hugo / Alita MV but the song just isn't my style. I'm super picky when it comes to selecting a song cause I usually want it more than just an MV but a short story as well (which you will notice in most of my videos). Most of the song I chose are my personal favorites that needs to resonate 1st with the films short stories. My song selection is so hard that I've only chosen 3 - 5 songs in total (3 are currently worked on) and each MV takes forever to finish as I'm a perfectionist (if you noticed the time difference between my upload dates). In short, I can't do request unless I really, really, really, really love the song that will inspire me lol But thank you for choosing me for your MV request, I am honored as I'm a big Hugo / Alita fan as well. You should try making the MV on your own. It's easy enough to learn the basic of Vegas Pro on youtube. If your heart is passionate enough, your actions will easily follow as well as I did with my 1st MV. My earlier works isn't that great but I slowly improve from it since we all learn thru practices.
