So much fake money has entered our system that investors are finally waking up to the fact, the only real money that actually exists is gold and silver. That's why gold keeps hitting new all time highs all year with seemingly no end in sight. The economy will continue to split into the haves and have nots. Specifically those who own gold and those who don't.

Inflation won’t come back because it never left. The “inflation rate” will be whatever the gov says it is no matter how much the price of bread and butter goes up.
Exactly, not inflation in recreational boats, musical instruments and other discretionary purchases. but inflation in food and things that really matter. That has never stopped.
Are you seeing everything go up in price or what are you seeing? The facts are they are stable.
@@AssetAddict prices? Yeah they went up and never came down. Companies made excuses during the pandemic about supply chains and the need to increase prices. It was true for some markets but not most. What’s down is wages….the job market is not good no matter what reports they put out.
@@AssetAddict The things such as food are still up. The things that have gone up 76% are still up 76% from 2021 and items that still are rising are rising at 10-20% not 2%. I live 20 miles from Napa, we use to have all kinds of orchards of everything and anything. All gone since the 70's. Now all we have is a bunch of rich people growing grapes on their fancy wineries and beautiful mansions that they built. Now our produce comes from mexico. it's awful.
Another sad tragedy brought to you buy greed and the lust for power.
I was born there, grew up there and completely agree with you. It was once a middleclass city with blue collar jobs and now it is the complete opposite of that. $40.00 a tasting, they used to be free at one time.
Same where I live in Sonoma County.
@@mikefisher2673 I remember, going up to NAPA to taste wine for free. those were the days. crossing the bay bridge was .50 cents as well as the Golden Gate Bridge. how much is it now? I guess money was worth more then?
This is America, capitalism for a few and an oligarchy for the majority. The fact that we as American people allow this does not surprise me.
California is so backwards. $175 for a bottle of wine from California is ridiculous. It is very sad what California has become.

The Bordenaros are spending FAKE money in Napa; go figure!
The Bordenaros pose a philosophical and epistemological question that delves into the relationship between reality (the actual Napa) and our mental constructs or ideas about reality (the conceptual money is fake).
Good luck reconciling those because one can't be true.

Michael: We live in the Napa Valley. The grounds at Beringer are absolutely beautiful and my favorite. Glad to see you and your wife enjoying the area. By the way wine tasting, not that many years ago, was free. Lots of changes in the last 20 years.

Yup, I remember when wine tasting used to be free in Napa.
It's all gone SIDEWAYS
In 1913 when Woodrow Wilson signed the empowering legislation for the formation of the privately owned Federal reserve, he is reputed to have said - "my God, what have I done?"
I think he said it after his term was up, but yeah, he said it
Wasn't he sick, and conned into it?
Let's not forget that the Sixteenth Amendment was added to the Constitution in 1913 which allowed the USA to collect Income Tax. Income Taxes were first collected in 1916 and need to pay off the debt the Federal Reserve was racking up. And it's been a racket ever since but it's going to collapse soon as debt payment outweigh GDP and tax revenue.

Mike and Lizi, peace of mind is the most important thing in life. If your financial situation is in good shape, that's half the battle...
Hi Michael,
Some words of wisdom for you and your viewers:
Always bank with brick and mortar locations for the reason you experienced.
Second, Keep your precious metals in a physical accessible location. Not with a company that gives you a piece of paper representing the metal. If things go south for whatever reason, you can still have access to it. Think about it.
Nice video today, thanks!
Who is going to guard it ?
@@karlnordinger5968 that is why gold was the money of choice, you do not have to guard it. Gold can be buried in dirt for 2000 years and it never even loses its shine. It does not rot, it does not burn, rodents don't eat it....and bankers aren't going to go bankrupt and take it. If you need a guard, you then need a guard to guard the guards....just hold it yourself and keep your mouth shut
Everyone can use their own imagination where to hide it.
and breath a word to nobody that u have physical gold in your home.
I never cease to be amazed at the prices in the USA, your $200 bottle costs around $20 in Spain where I live.
There are many good wines here for reasonable prices.
I suspect they are drinking too much wine and it has gone to their head ..... the prices are definitely for the drunk or insane.
Same in AUS
Pas cher en Espagne, mais soyer vigilant quand même. Certains assez cher à comparaison de la Belgique
And Spanish wine is absolutely DIVINE!
@@youngyhasard3219 Most wines in Spain are under 4-6 euros a bottle. If you are looking for something better, the average wine will cost you 10 euros, and if you want something good without breaking the bank, it will cost you 20 euros. Of course, there is more cheap wine in Spain, but if we talk about quality, bottles that cost around 20 euros offer excellent value for money here. By the way, as a good Belgian (the French do this too) you have to put the finishing touch, you can talk about your wines without criticising others...

Silver was used as money before gold was

The wine was a good example of inflated prices. A fine, quality wine from Chile, Australia, Italy or Spain you will get over here from four to eight bucks a bottle. Here's what really matters: The inflation rate and interest rates (bond yields) are ***correlated*** and this is MASSIVELY important. There is no changing this fact because investors do not sign up for guaranteed loss making investments. There is no realistic circumstance where an economy can have high inflation and low borrowing cost. For example no investor is going to loan the Federal government money for 10 years at 3.5% if inflation is 5% because that is a 150 basis point loss. The USA can no problem have 8% inflation.... but that means mortgage rates are 12% and that's just they way it is.
And theived for 15 years..
The FIAT money is turning into a complete disaster. Politicians and individuals are not disciplined enough to be part of the system.

The Fed has proven to be an absolute disaster with regard to accomplishing its mission of sustained growth, low unemployment and low inflation. Instead we have seen bubbles followed busts, growth followed by recession over and over and over. Once again our economy will come in for a crash landing in recession because the Fed has never understood that inflation itself is self limiting. The more things cost, the less people will purchase as their income does not keep up with the inflation rate. I’m of the opinion that the Fed once again grossly overdid it with these rate hikes. If they hadn’t hiked at all inflation would have slowed on its own as people consumed less and gradually ran out of the ability to load on more debt to keep spending above their net income. What is truly spooky is there are more and more economists in government who are buying into the theory that the deficit never needs to be paid back and can be increased forever as we can just perpetually inflate our way out of it. This has been tried before and those who tried it were taking a wheelbarrow full of currency to buy a loaf of bread as their currency became virtually worthless.

The last time I bought a bottle of wine, I think that it was a Berenger Moscato for $2. I had a couple of coupons for half off and I waited for them to come on sale. I generally can't drink wine but I can drink 1/2 ounce of Moscato from time to time. Yeah, I'm cheap and I can't tell the difference between cheap and expensive wine.
On bank access: banks are getting hit with all kinds of fraud. Chase and Fidelity were mentioned in an article I read over the weekend. But this is hitting everywhere. It can be checkwashing, or account takeovers but the banks are losing a lot of money to this and they are clamping down and holding your money for weeks before checks clear.
MD 20/20 for the GF's😁😁😁
Good afternoon y’all.🕺🖖👍
Wow, you're bringing back memories! I visited Napa in 2009, wine tastings were pretty much free, or under $20. $40 per tasting is...expensive! Napa was beautiful, the wine amazing. I bought an Alpha Omega winery Cabernet at $45 and thought that was incredibly indulgent. Enjoy!
Was at Berengers in 1990. Wine back then was 10 to 20 bucks a bottle. I thought that was too high. Never went back
My favorite wines are the cheap sweet wines such as barefoot sweet red, barefoot red Moscato and manischewitz in either the Concord grape or the blackberry, they are just over $10 for a 1.5 liter bottle.
Good video as always Michael. The definition of inflation is an expansion of the money supply resulting in higher prices. Our government has redefined inflation as rising prices but that is not correct rising prices are merely a result of inflation. Keep up the good work and enjoy your time in california.
Wow I loved working there over 20 years ago as a network administrator 😊I love living in the wine countryside! Love Northern California, but HATE the politics!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You can buy a bottle of wine at ALDI for like $3.99. That's just my kind of price.
I watch your channel a lot. I also enjoy your passion for walking. It's the best exercise that you were actually designed for. Your message is always on point.
I'm glad that you're frugal glad to hear somebody that's successful say that they're frugal. Glad to hear that Lizzy's on board also. I like your wine tasting you seem more relaxed and I saw you smile. I find you to be very knowledgeable and provide so many facts. Now when I watch people I look for the facts and they're usually are none. They say ( I think)( I heard) but no facts, data, thank you for all you do. I feel blessed to have access to your knowledge. Of course glad to see Lizzie, love that dress girl. God bless you and Lizzy.
Thank you sooooo much Karen!!🙏🤗😘🤍
I once went to a winery in Napa and stomped grapes. Then wound up with a case of that wine later on.
I'm old and remember those very long (odd/even) gas lines in Miami, flew out to San Francisco (non revenue) and sat in them out there too. It sure was a different San Francisco back then than it is now. My brother used to find and collect silver certificate dollar bills in his wallet. It stated right on them you could redeem them for the face value of the bill, in silver. That made me aware at a young age about silver, gold and the FRB. Now I am happy with that silver and gold I bought back in the 70' and 80's.
Yep... You did good....
I bought my gold in 2008....
I remember people talking about it....
Could go up to $300....
What I hate about gold is you pay more than spot to buy and less than spot when you sell.
Gold is a dead rock. The new gold is Bitcoin. Research it yourself. Gold is old technology and is going to get Blockbustered by Bitcoin. Learn about this new technology and what it can do for you. 👍
Just because someone owns an asset does not necessarily mean it can benefit someone. I spoke with a Canadian woman on youtube who owns property, but has limited understanding of how it can benefit her. I unlike her understand how to use property in a beneficial way because I bothered to educate myself.
Currently I do not have property, and I think it would be a gamble to invest in property without knowing how to use it in a beneficial way. I am interested to buy my own property, so I am looking into buying property!
For sure the things I buy are becoming more expensive, for now, but eventually this story is going to change. In life we can either invest our time, or money to try to make our lives better. Time believe it, or not is more important than money. Because if you have all the money in the world, and you choose to not use your time in a productive way then you could lose everything. Investing time is what can make significant difference in someone's life.
The woman who I chatted with on youtube was trying to help her large family, and she screwed up bad in my opinion, so she experienced loss!!!
I understand your point. However, I purchased my home 25 years ago for $69,000.
It's now valued at $380,000 ,that's a pretty good return on my investment.
I have no debt.
I vacation constantly and have invested in physical gold and silver, cash in the bank. GiVen the price of gold has exploded, IWish I'd bought more.js
And yes, I understand the times have changed.
@@nickwilkinson7728 I think I could make a better return on investment than you can if your property was mine.
You are focusing on something that has the potential to be worthless.
I quote: ".However, I purchased my home 25 years ago for $69,000.
It's now valued at $380,000 ,that's a pretty good return on my investment."
I saw 1 home owner on youtube who could not sell her property, and it was a nice home she had.
Value of homes could go up, but that does not necessarily mean it can be sold!
@@nickwilkinson7728 You understand nothing. Because you do not see eye to eye with me, and you are not on the same page as me.
@@knowledgeandmultiskilled L , o , l , you're obviously successful in life , aren't you .
Doesn't sound self made....
Just spoiled.....
I lived in San Francisco late 80s, wed often go to Napa for wine tasting, there was no charge and wine was affordable.
Ohhhh I loved this video so much!! I remember years ago going to Paw Paw MI and they had vineyards whereby a person could do the wine tasting and buy a bottle of wine. It was certainly very inexpensive. 🌺
Citidel, Birkshire Hathaway billion dollar holding companies, Birkshire owns BNSF railway, Unions are garbage now an days, they just want your contribution for a future arbitration. Wells Fargo and Bank of America not what they use to be, there headed to everything online banking and they can't even get that right, Michael. Thanks for Sharing...
$90 bottle, $300 bottle or just buy a box at Costco?
