I'm not a fan of them but you have to remember why they use them. It's strongman not powerlifting and they have way more events to do than just the big 3. Also doing a mixed grip increases the chance of a bicep tear. They get their grip tested on the farmers walk or Timber carry.
great but please stay away from straps zydrunas. . you should pull 950 pounds without them
