I have a little question, my store is not live yet so it's password-protected and I prefer to keep it like that for now, would it be better to connect it to google search console only when the store is live and I remove the password? Or does it make sense to follow your instructions now and to put back the password while the store is not live? Thank you un advance.
When I entered my URL it said my HTML tag was already verified... Do I still have to edit the code of my website? I went through this process (minus adding the tag as it said it was already varified) a couple weeks ago but I'm still have issues getting my website indexed by google.
Hey Mate, its the domain verification, you can still go to "Settings" - User Verification - "Click HTML Tag" and proceed with what Stewart shows. Hope it helps.
