Some would be surprised that a little casual puzzle game like Bejeweled would have some of the best music tracks in gaming.

I taught my mama how to use computer, and the first videogame that she played was Bejeweled 3. The second one was more complicated - Portal. She likes puzzle games :) One day she'll play Killing Floor 2 (I hope) :DD

I love this song. So thin and frail, but at the same time courageous and brave, perfectly fitting the butterflies....

Popcap used to make such great games before the mobile market and EA happened.
yea but at the same time 95% of mobile games nowadays are based on good old popcap games (pvz, bejeweled (precursor of candy crush), peggle, zuma...)

When I used to play Bejeweled 3, this was my favourite out of all the modes. It’s just calming and the only one I was good at

It's so true to the name of the mode ! The first time I heard this music, all I could think of was the butterflies' fight for their lives, so fragile, yet still standing strong with hope and faith.

Hah, just played Bejeweled 3 and this song... it sounds like the composer wanted to go wild, but project director told him to hold his horses. It sounds quite great. And this melody is like taken straight from hard techno or moog track. In fact the first song that came to my mind was Popcorn by Gershon Kingsley.
The composer (Peter Hajba aka Skaven) was allowed to go more wild in the Unreal Soundtrack :D but a lot of his older demoscene compositions are really cool too.

All of Bejeweled 3's music sounds like Philip Glass scoring The Lord of the Rings.

Butterflies mode was one of the most stressful experiences that little kid me ever had to endure. No joke, this game mode had me sweating.
For me, most stressful modes in Bejeweled 3 are Ice Storm and Diamond Mine.

I like the swinging tempo here. It makes the track's grandiose presentation have a bit of playfulness to it.

I remember playing this mode when I was younger and crying because a butterfly was in the last row and I couldn’t save him 😂 I’m happy my brother showed me this beautiful game series as a child...

One of the best gaming music of all time imo. I used to play this as a kid. This track perfectly resembles how a butterfly should be, they're frail, yet their bravery let them do all the effort with their small and elegant form. I love this track so much!

When I played this game on my DS in like 4thish grade, I would cry everytime a butterfly was caught because I thought I failed it by letting it die.

I still think Paradoxion is best puzzle game ever, but Bejeweled is very good too
bejeweled created candy crush and so 50% of mobile games of nowadays, but peggle, zuma and pvz (they made 25% of the rest of mobile games) were also created by popcap games, which is impressive

I remember playing this game on my grandmas computer when I was around 6-7 when the third game first came out, my mom was big on Bejeweled when it came to games to past the time, she probably still has the mobile version of the game on her phone lmfao, and she was kinda what got me into that game as a child, at least for a small amount of time. I remember I used to let the level run and let the music play while I did other things, and as many memories from so many years ago do, I pretty much forgot about the game entirely.
11, almost 12 years later, I am now 18 years old and in my first year of college studying art and I remembered this exact song from that game and I had to listen to it and go back on that nostalgia trip, and this song still slaps even after 12 years 👏

Well now ea has turned Bejeweled into a soccer moms facebook loving dream it has a heart counter now and if you run out of hearts you have to whit 15 minutes before you can play again and they removed all the other modes the only mode you have now is story mode you don't even have endless mode!! this is why some times i hate ea because they take good things that we love and make try to make them money machines and forget the things that we loved about the game and throw it into a fire never to be seen in that game franchise ever again basically the new bejeweled aka bejeweled stars is trying to become the new candy crush. well this was the case for bejeweled any way pvz 2 was good even though it's really hard at the end stages and it makes you go mad and want to kill some thing and the other plants you had to pay for and the plants you have to get with gems witch are hard to get and then they want you to get like 99 of them just to get one plant and it just kinda is not a good game for relieving stress but besides that it was a good game also if you liked bejeweled stars then good for you but i don't and i think most of the people tat liked the old bejeweled will like the new one and i just felt like i needed to share this with you because no one is talking about it.

You know, I've been thinking... what if they're was a peacock pokémon whose eye spots were actual eyes? In my opinion, that would be even more freaky than Claydol from Gen 3! I don't know, I always had a lifelong fear involving eyes and eye spots. What's really freaky is that there exists a frog that has actual eyes on it's back. No joke! I found it out in my families old copy of Microsoft Dangerous Creatures.
