When a puppy or dog struggles with jumping on people, a simple game to teach is called "Dog Parking." To set the dog up for success, I step on the lead. In this game, the owner stands still, encouraging the dog to do the same. By reinforcing the behavior of all four paws on the ground, the dog learns that staying grounded is rewarding.
