Crochet Starfish Tutorial - Beginner Crochet Applique Tutorial

- In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet starfish applique.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona Cotton (201) Electric Blue. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends, sewing thread and needle to stitch the starfish together and a pair of scissors.
The finished size will be 12.5cm wide x 12.5cm high (5” wide x 5” high) for the larger starfish, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the starfish in Catona will be 10cm wide x 10cm high (4” wide x 4” high). The medium starfish will be 9cm wide x 9cm high (3.5” wide x 3.5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small starfish will be 7cm wide x 7cm high (2.75” wide x 2.75” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
