As much as I love this podcast the ONLY thing that gets me mad is when Gil acts like Cali is the hierarchy of basketball. They may produce a lot of NBA talent but the best & most popular players are from the East. (Bron, Steph, KD, JORDAN, etc)
Lebron is from Ohio. KD is from DC. MJ is from North Carolina and Steph grew up in NC too. That’s a lot of places you’re lumping into “East” lol not really a good example

When you shift the culture you go to a HBCU. Going to UCLA is a privilege and it’s rich history hasn’t been what it’s been but when you say culture, go hard or go home. I get he from Cali so that ain’t it but the culture right now!!!!...... yea shifting it that way is the wave. What he is doing is normal. But good luck to the young man I wish him well and he looks as if he will be a great player for UCLA.
