The instructions say to put the charging dock in a permanent location with strong Wi-Fi and you need to remove any objects that are closer than 3 ft. from either side of the dock, or closer than 5 ft. from the front of the dock.
That's what our first one did and it was just on a tile nothing around it kind of floor so we took it back to Walmart returned it obviously kept the cleaning solution extra pads cuz screw them they screwed me out of an hour and a half of my time waiting and customer service and playing circle jerk over there at Walmart so anyways got placement shark it ran great for 2 days went to go clean with it today and it ran over a puddle and now you try and do anything with it and it just says error code 21 reboot failed restart the robot over and over but there's no way that I can tell to fix it so I guess we're going to just return it again and just I guess we'll have a supply of cleaning solution and pads because this is ridiculous... $25 for warranty shipping too get out of here with that I ain't paying it worse comes worse I'll just return it and buy their competitor
I figured out the issue. It was because there was too much hair jamming up the vacuum roller. I took the roller out and removed all the hair and it worked fine. Too bad I already paid $27 for a replacement unit under warranty. Now I have two Vacmops going around.
Hope you didn’t get IRobot because after warranty is over you get someone overseas that reads the manual and tells you to buy parts that does not solve issues. Thanks for heads up on shark customer service and shipping costs while in warranty!
Damn $300 and they want you to pay $25 for shipping? Even if that was next-day shipping(which I doubt it is) that's ridiculous t charge money for a warrantied product. Shitty situation; I'd just return it.
@@timzusa no but seen your video on the unit and from the start is wasn’t an accurate review. And have a few different units they the years that’s the first thing that can cause you issues. Just figured you would want to be a good resource for your viewers, maybe not .

That was not the issue. It didn’t work no matter where it was. Customer service diagnosed it and made me pay $25 for a brand new unit.

I am using next door wifi and my mop is keep moving in round shape leaks water Nd not mopping the floor
@@timzusa Dude if You put the robot un this position You Will have the same error

Shark: Stupid app always asks me which shark, even though I only have 1 shark.
3 feet distance for it to do it’s calibration

I hope I can return it to the store still. It’s been less than 90 days. $25 for shipping is ridiculous, bad warranty for sure.

I got mine for free now I have two pieces of crap not working.
You can't put the dock by carpet
That was not the issue.
Same problem
Dude really you should have 3 feet of clear space around any robot vac. Come on man
Yeah, but that doesn’t excuse the VacMop from breaking within 60 days and the crap customer service. Do you work for Shark or something?

I experienced the exact same issue!😡
Check for hair tangling up the roller and stuff on the bottom. If there is hair, cut it off. Hair can jam the vacuum.
@@timzusa thank you but that is not the issue with mine.
Why you talkin like that son lol wtf.
