It seems like Zwag doesn't know Malz's DoT executes minions now. That's the real reason it's so easy to have godly CS on Malz. Best strat on first wave is to focus down melee minions until all three are below half, then toss the DoT on the lowest one, and usually you'll end up clearing the first qave flawlessly without hardly trying.
Zwag, when you're taking turret on Malz, you have to Q-W. You'll have one or two voidlings up consistently, and they actually shred turrets. Of course, they also take hits. But if the turret is focused on a cannon, ho boy... you can have 3 up, and those voidies tear that sht up. The difference is HUGE. I'm not exaggerating.
Zwag @Xerath Malzahar main here. I die a little bit on the inside when I see you not using your voidlings to melt towers. For maximum effect. let the tower aggro a cannon and then drop your voidlings. It's crazy how much damage they do to structures.

i play a little bit of malz when i'm mid, and love to do liandry's into shadowflame void staff deathcap, you drain everyone's life with just your E it's even worth testing if luden's could be an alternative against full squishy team also one big tip: malz, because of his short range, tends to work better the more melees you're versing (so unfortunately this lowers even more his pick rate) love your vids and your relaxing voice! ❤
Zwag, I am surprised you aren't doing double burn rylais mandate builds. Remember when mandate came out you would wish it wasn't a mythic so you can also get liandries. Well now you can.
Hey Zwag, some tips from a Malz main: you could be using your minions to take down turrets (they actually devour them), use it when turret focus the canons (just like ap shacos do with the boxes), also you can use them to block zoe bubbles and projectiles in general, always use them to run away (specially if you have rylais) it has almost the same effect as following a singed, the minions cook them and then u just turn and get the kill, Malzahar's minions are actually more vital than ppl think, they do incredible damage with the ult, they are more than lane pushers and can actually solo champions or almost kill them (like they did to Xerath)
Demonic embrace on malzahar is actually bad, you can do more damage if you bought the item that increases damage and grants vision if the target is far away, or even a shadowflame/morello with the penetration. It's even worse if your build isn't going for HP (Rylai, Shadowflame, etc) because you're then getting even less AP from the passive.
Oh my god, please do ADC Morgana with the shiv and other new busted items! Loved the old adc build you did, great video, and would love to see it now with the new items!! ❤
one thing i like to do, is when i have a cannon wave crash. as soon as the tower targets the cannon, spawn 3 voidlings for some easy plates. the tower will auto target a voidling after a minion dies. but if you can get a full hp connon your voidlings will melt the tower.
As someone who likes playing Malzahar need to ask which item is best to counter Maw of Malmutus+Deaths Dance+Gargoyle stoneplate shields ? Getting sick of Lee Sins going through E+Q+W+R+E combos with Liandris,Demonic and Shadowflame items and the burn doesn't even go through their shields
I had the same problem Jhin is having. It's like the client crashes but you never get kicked out. I stopped being able to control my character and I'd just have to suffer seeing him walk right into the enemy turret.
So something that's possibly a bug, and may have been patched out, but If you buy an item in shop while dead, and someone is burning don't the new item stats start applying? I had seen this mostly in Aram when i would buy an item and not be able to refund it because "damage had been done" from the new items.

I dont play much, but main Malzahar because hes simple though fun to play different ways lategame. Start with TP flash, mana crystal and save 150 gold, quick back to get lost chapter. Wont need to back again untill tp is back up to buy liandrys. Perma shove lane safely and usually double opponents CS + easy roams (low elo helps low CS lol) Can mix up runes as prefered, max E, then W voidlings. Else max Q second if opponent can clear voidlings too quickly to be useful in shoving. Can build to clear towers faster than almost any champ - always fun
Liandry's Cosmic Drive Cassiopeia is also strong af and you can slither circles around your foes. Alternatively you could also go Luden's for more speed. Also plug-in for Rageblade Bel'Veth. She do be strong especially now.
Yo zwag, u made a slight mistake at around 9.10 when the canon tanked tower. It prios canons over voidling so u can do massive dmg during that time. Just saying 🤪😁

I can not remember if it was ad or ap that used to increase the voidlings back before the rework on it but I miss that wish they would bring it back but maybe change from ap to an increase by his hp it would work perfectly how I like to play with malz sometimes

Found a new hidden tech with Garen. Duskblade/Eclipse, cleaver and Grudge. That basically gives you 100% armor pen with 6 hits of your E with grudge slow. Finish off with Collector/Edge of Night/Mercurial
This neeko just made me think of a fun video idea. You play neeko with someone that plays shaco. Shaco ults and you turn into shaco, now there’s THREE shacos. Which shaco is the real one? No one knows.
Do maximum lightning volibear: nashors, ionian boots, riftmaker, statikk shiv, kraken slayer, and dead man's plate of you make it late (hextech drag soul if you can for the third chain lightning)

Because he falls off late game. And his ult is easy to counter. He’s only strong during laning phase but what decides whether you win or lose is always the big team fights which is where he falls off. As soon as you ult, you’re wide open.
I have also found out that first strike doesnt proc on Neeko when she is morphed. She also doesnt get turret aggro if she is a ward under the tower. They need to fix her dumb bs.
Malz is such an unrated champion. Your damage is massive you have good cc great wave clear and with just a little bit of wave knowledge and good targeting he will boost you alot further then you think.
@shinobuoshino5066 he can be boring and the enemy can try but if you have good positioning and show at objectives then you remove 1 valuable target from the fight and your dot is insane. Years ago there was a dude who climbed to either masters or challenger (I can't remember which) playing malz just rushing shurelyas and locking down their fed target with r. Dude was kind of like the bauss with his kda but it was effective enough to climb high.
