AWW, beautiful house, gorgeous property!! and those views are stellar ! garden beds seem too small and puny in comparison to the size of that house, the scale is off, huge house=deep garden beds, make them wider and you will have a lot more space for roses , a lot less grass to water in hot dry climate too
Thank you. Yes, I have some ideas to expand a little more. We hope to put in a pool in the large grassy area at some point so that's why its so wide open. Didn't want to plant any trees there. I also love a big grassy area anyway so it's not a big deal to me. When we planned our landscaping I was in a different place than I am now so I will be changing up some things and adding larger beds and yes I will be adding more roses 😀
You could mix lavender in your border with the peonies? That would be pretty. I had thrips really bad this year and want to somehow not overwinter them. So I’m going to see what I can do for next year. Such a bummer. Those thrips.
Question, I first saw your back yard tour before this one. The backyard appears as though your house is "tucked away" in the mountains or on private property, but I noticed in both videos what sounds like heavy freeway noise so I'm confused. Your property is very beautiful so glad I found you!!
Yes, it is kinda close to the freeway so it can be deceiving. The traffic noise carries more in the morning so that's why it sounded loud in that particular video. So while it is not tucked away in the mountains we want it to feel like it is. I am not sure if I answered your question but I hope I did. The creek runs down from the mountain and we are more west from the mountain. 😀I am so glad you are here.
You constantly work your garden/ yard. It's so beautiful! I always enjoy watching because your yard is so beautiful!
I know! Haha. I am ready for winter. It will be a nice break until spring 😀. Thank you!
Love your Limelight Hydrangeas and how they change colour in the cooler weather. Your Dalia’s are gorgeous too 😍
Thank you. They hydrangeas turned more pink then they ever have so that was fun this year. Thanks for watching ❤
Ahh I love this garden video , beautiful front and back garden❤
Thank you so much!
wow those Jazzberry are amazing; I will add some next year.
Right?! I love them so much!

Oh that would be so pretty!
Try Longfield Gardens for dahlia tubers; I have had good luck with them. Love your gardens, just discovered your channel.
OH thank you for the suggestion ❤
