真ん中の案内軌道が上下する構造は知っていたけれど、水平に移動する構造は知らなかった…驚きですね

地元が札幌だから他府県に行くまで地下鉄はタイヤが当たり前と思ってたけど圧倒的にタイヤは世界的にも少なくみたいですね！
札幌の地下鉄は駅と駅が近いからそのため加速力と減速を良くするのにタイヤなんじゃないですか？

操作方法も工夫するんですね。

こんにちは、私は日本がとても美しい街であることをいつも知っているベトナム人です。一度日本に行きたいです。
考えてみりゃ、自動運転ではないことを除けば、ガイドレール誘導だったり、タイヤ走行だったりすることから、元祖新交通システムとも言える存在なわけだよな…
実際札幌の地下鉄っていろいろな実験に使われまくったしね。
改札機も色々新しい試みが実行されて、結果、思いっきりガラパゴスになってしまったし。
モノレールとも言えるかも

札幌は、札幌石材馬車鉄道（現在の札幌市電の元祖）から始まり定山渓鉄道→札幌市電→札幌市営バス→ゴムタイヤ式の地下鉄に変身した。
まあ、特殊型。
実験で、旧苗穂試験場ではモノレールや市電と市バスを融合した乗り物の実験もされたらしい。
結果、札幌方式の地下鉄が誕生。
自動運転機能自体はあるんですよね（もんすけ調査隊によると、自動回送という機能があるようです）
サンダーバードの基地の中って、こんな風になってたんですね。知りませんでした(笑)
子供の頃、自衛隊前駅回送で、車庫入っていく姿見てたな～
特に、２番ホームからの回送は２回転てつ器通過するから迫力すごかった！！

当初は駅間距離を市電なみに想定していたため、加速・原則性能に優れたゴムタイヤが採用されたといわれています。
また、南北線で地下区間から地上区間へ上がる際はかなり急勾配のため、登坂性能もゴムタイヤが採用された理由の一つといわれています。

Fascinating! I've never seen this type of point before. In France two cities (Caen & Nancy) used to have a bus that for part of the time was guided by a central rail, unfortunately it sometimes detailed and was not a commercial success. It is a shame as these were nice buses when travelling away from the rail

札幌市営地下鉄の台車がノーパンク式のゴムタイヤでレールはコンクリート
正確には南北線がコンクリートに耐摩レジン（歯医者で詰めるプラスチックの強化版みたいなもの）を塗ったもので東西、東豊は鉄をタイヤの走る部分に使用していて、更に東西線はコンクリに鉄の走行路直付けなのに対して東豊線はコンクリート製のブロック枕木をかませて固定してるって違いがあるから実際はコンクリの上を走ってるわけではない
