Another Cross Country Journey in an Allegro RED RV

- About two years ago, I re-built a totaled 2019 Tiffin Allegro RED Class A diesel pusher and drove it across the USA in a shake down cruise. Now, I get to skip the re-build and just drive a 2021 Allegro RED from my shop in Arizona to Sewell Motorcoach in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. I know it's a little long, but I hope you enjoy the more in depth look at the roof, exterior, and interior as I try to point out why this is a good unit and I wish I had more time to enjoy it.
A big thank you to Cal for his assistance moving the units and an even bigger THANK YOU for a the outrageous milestone of hitting 50,000 subscribers on the channel :) !!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Any questions about the RV can be addressed to Doug Sewell @Sewellmotorcoach

Don't ever apologize for your videos being too long. I'd watch a 5 hour special. Would it be on 2x speed? Yes. But you bet I'd watch every minute of it! 😂 Also, congrats on 50K!!
Challenge accepted
Lol RV guys unite.
Best demo around . Thanks James. I never doze off with your videos haha!
That's high praise, sometimes I do after I've edited it and it is the 900th time I have seen it
Pay me to drive across America AND fly me to Vegas, .... WOOOOOHOOOOO! 😁👍👍🤪🤣✌️🇺🇸

Most beautiful Allegro Red Coach. Doug is wise to have you to assist.

🙂 I appreciate the effort and time taken to edit so we have a flawless video to watch (even though I actually enjoy the outtakes). Esp. the last one 😁

Congrats James! Love the channel and the information you give! Keep going!
Thanks for watching! :)
Love your videos. I also know you've always been a Tiffin fanboy. Would love to know your real opinion on Tiffins since Thor bought them out.. I have never seen you comment on a Tiffin roof like that.. I feel that Thor junks every brand down once they buy it!!
If I find a bad one--I'll tell you :)
Really like that you get to have mini-holidays. Pretty great
It really is!
Woohoo, love the bloopers at the end too. Thanks for sharing your inspection trip. Congrats on 50k👍
Thanks so much!
Congrats on over 50K. Nice RED. Thanks for the tour James. Happy trails!
Thanks Phil for all the awesome comments!
You have the best job.
Sometimes :)
You've described the best part about being an airline pilot: I show up to a perfectly maintained airplane, already loaded with fuel. I just get to do the fun part of taking it from Point A to Point B.
LOL
I hope he (James) doesn’t take this the wrong way but I don’t know what it is about his grin. He reminds me of somebody and he has that grin that looks like the cat that just ate the canary!! every time he smiles or grins it makes me laugh and I can’t stop watching. He could be selling sewer pipes and I would still be watching!
52,500 as I write this! Keep up the great work and stay real.
Awesome

I never got paid to drive my GM PD4106 34ft bus conversion. You have a great job. Enjoy while you can.
You must have the balance of a circus acrobat! Every time you check over the caps , or on the sides checking the molding , I just cringe! I feel like I’m gonna fall and I’m sitting in my recliner ! Great info ! Learning a lot ! Don’t fall !
It's not as scary as it looks I promise! Unless it's windy, or raining
Hi James, I’m new to your channel and welcome to “My Mississippi”; I hope you enjoyed your stay! I LOVE watching your videos because your inspections are so meticulous & I’m learning so much from watching you. I’m so excited to purchase my 1 st THOR😂. Stay safe

Love your videos, keep up the good work! 👍
Thanks for watching! :)
Hey. I think it is so fun that you got to do that. You so obviously love it. We are learning from your inspections and seeing what people have done with their busses. Since apparently we're not getting any younger...we got big plans and it's kind of now or never situation. So thanks for educating us for our perhaps possible future ahead 👍 ...oh and I do see the outtakes hah haa I totally feel you 🤣👋

You're Welcome Tim! Thanks for watching!
Great video. I always learn something new when watching your videos.
Awesome, thank you!
I think it would have been much safer to get off the roof before one moves. Let alone across states. You’re the man.. another great walk through and showing what to look at and concerns
Great content!
Thanks for watching! :)
I love your videos James and learn something every time. I really liked this one especially with the solar panels and batteries. It would be a great first motorhome if I don’t have to loose too much money over a couple of years.
Congratulations on 50,000 followers as you really deserve this as a starter 😉 What I really appreciate is you driving this for 2,000 miles and not having any issues. I’m feeling very reassured about this. Thank you my dear friend ⭐️🥂
Thanks for watching! :)
congrats thank you for the informative videos.
Thanks for watching!
New sub... great vids, AZ! Keep'em coming!
Excellent presentation on this coach.
Thanks for watching!
glad you got to come back to the east coast side ! be safe going home and take care of call stay safe
Thanks Jan
Hi James, congratulations on your 50k subscriber level! That’s awesome and doesn’t surprise me whatsoever…..you’re good! This was a great video, very interesting and informative. I learn something with every one of your videos. I also notice that you and I are exactly the same when it comes to “eating and living on the road”. I can survive off of almost nothing, maybe a few chicken wings, piece of pizza, a soda or bottle of water, handful of chips and I’m good to go. A pair of shorts, underwear, t shirt, towel, toothbrush and I’m good for a while. Extremely minimalist and low maintenance. My wife thinks it’s terrible but when she comes along, it’s an ordeal and half the house and grocery store has to come along. As usual, I’m always very nervous when watching you on the roof……don’t like it but be careful. I’m really looking forward to watching your next video on your Beaver. I enjoy watching the progress. Take care!
She just wants to make sure you are fed :) Sometimes my wife comes along--she also brings half the house
Take all the time you want! It's all interesting....and congrats on your 50k!
Thank you!
Woo Hoo! Congrats on 50k subscribers! Cheers!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you, sir.

Thanks Robert!
Hey James, another great video.
Thanks for watching! :)
Nice rig. I like the shorter rigs. We enjoy going with you on the road trips!!! Congratulations on 50k.
Thanks for watching!
Congrats on 65k subs
What a nice RV.
Thank you!
Great video. I am from New Zealand and work in the engineering industry so always very interested in what people have done especially in the RV industry. Its sad to see RV manufacturers install lots of stuff on the roof and drill many holes through the roof which all may leak water inside in time. My idea is when the RV is built a roof rack be built which can be mounted onto the body structural frame with as few holes into the roof as possible. All the roof equipment can mounted onto that frame, and all cables can be attached to the frame. and have only one duct through the roof where for all cable to enter inside. Ventilation fans should have a side wall vents, and have no roof vents. I would not glue a solar panel onto the roof, what is happening underneath the panel. The modern RV roof is a time bomb, you would want to inspect it often. I think the RV industry should move on and upgrade RV roof construction. Cheers
I built my own little camper out of a LWB Vito van and used this idea, I just unbolted and unplugged my solar panels and antennas when I wanted to use my van roof rack for work. I also had a vent fan through the floor run by a small solar panel to keep it cool inside.
Another great video congratulations on 50K
Thanks for watching!
Congrats on 50K subscribers! When I worked in a custom cabinet shop, we used alder as a substitute for cherry. A little less expensive and finishes like cherry. Great video.
Thanks for watching!
Congrats on 50k! Seems like yesterweek I signed up when it was in the teens, keep it growing James WTG! On your dislike of the stalk trans shifter, just a personal preference or are there any issues with it?
Great content thanks
Thanks for watching!
Always like the Red from Tiffin. Thought that it offered a lot of value for the $$$. Your video proves the point. Thanks again from a long time subscriber.
Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on 50k milestone
Thank you!!
Congrats on $50k you deserve it!! I like the longer videos
Awesome thank you!
Congrats on your 70k. Bill
Congrats on getting over 50K subs. Who would imagine 50K people that like roof inspections, lol. I enjoy your ending, sorry for laughing but I know words are hard. I did DJ years ago and somedays talking was very hard. Stay safe and healthy.
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos. Don’t worry about the length.
Can you show some of the slide out models with the slides closed? I would like to get a feel for moving around while going down the road.
Hey, I am an Ex-pat living in England. An old school friend of mine started an RV Channel, which got me watching RV travel channels. Your channel popped up a few months ago, and I now have an obsession with watching your inspection videos. 🤣😂 Your such a genuine and happy guy, which makes the videos great entertainment for those less technical amongst us. Just thought I'd say hi....from an Overseas follower! Keep up the adventures :-D
Hey thanks! I like watching the canal narrow boat youtubers LOL
Congratulations my friend 😊
You doing amazing job if I was a little younger I would love to be cover your student to learn about inspections and also to drive the motor coaches but one place to another but congratulations on your success buddy
🖖🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks!
Not sure if you know this. When doing lithium batteries remove the Daisy chain cables and run each battery to a positive and negative busbar. Using busbars will divide load between batteries which will extend the life of batteries as the whole load doesn't go through each battery. for example 100 amps being pulled through 4 100ah batteries is 1C. now with that same 100 amp load going through busbar to 4 batteries pulls .25C from each battery as long as each battery cable from each battery is exact same length. I have 4 banks (same as calling it a battery) with 2 5k inverters. if I pull full load 10k each of my banks will hit .18C-.2C. I have 280AH banks at 48 volts. Almost all now are doing busbars instead of Daisy chaining. Hope this helps. Then adding more batteries is easy as you just connect to busbar. I also have fused cut off from each bank (battery).
Your right, it is a no brainer
Thanks for watching! :)
That’s a very nice rig.
I think so
great video, im interested in knowing more about putting internet in our voyage so my wife can work from the road. I will look into the sky pro. thanks as always James and Congratulations on breaking fifty k!!! its nice when someone who is doing this for the love of it has success. keep up the good work and God Bless.
For internet did you mean Skylink? There are quite a few RV channels who have reviewed it and said wonderful things about it. You would still possibly want a prepaid AT&T or likes hotspot for when staying in the trees. They get about the same speeds, but only work where there is cell coverage, so it is recommended you have both or make sure you are never in a spot with complete tree coverage.
Thanks for watching!
Cool. I have alder cabinets in my house.
Really nice James for 33 feet got lots of sleeping space my 32 foot travel trailer has only got one bed perfect for 2

Thank you very much. Great video again. I think that was a Allegro 340, is that right? Which would be a step down from the Allegro 360, AKA 33AA, which is 35 feet long, even though it's a 33AA.
