Nobody will play wolverine below plat or even grand master because he is boring to play. Changing numbers will only help in high elo with his pick rate. Moon knight generally does worse in high elo, he is a noob stomper tough, and yes his ult can counter any healers ult but his ankh gets destroyed if thrown at shields which makes Su a counter to moon knight and he already has plenty bad matchups because of his huge melee weakness, as moon knight, everyone is moving 3x your speed, not to mention that the best tank in the game has a massive ankh denial shield.
Wolverine is a tank buster and is pretty fun to play if played correctly. I've seen more wolverines this season and storm then before diamond and above. Moon night is a just a good back line problem with his abilities. Haven't seen many diamond and below but seen a few in diamond and above. I get everyone is moving but they still cluster and depends on which game mode and map. You won't see wolverines are certain maps because you can't kidnap and drop them off the edge of the map. Moon knight is just a good choice for helping your back line stay safe as well. Really just depends on your play style as a person. But I don't know how you think wolverine is boring lol the kidnapping and watching them panic is funny.
And I get there is counters to every character it's more moon knight is a good counter to invisible women because you can place a unk behind the shields and strange is banned like every game I've played usually have thors and groots as tanks which is a wolverine field day.
