This is a cool option. In March Atomstack is releasing their own version which includes the compressor as well. This is definitely less expensive.
The silver piece that you drilled with the 13.9mm, what is that piece? It does not show in the link, so I am guessing that it is an additional part?
These machines should come with air assist nozzle from the factory. Then you can upgrade easily by buying a air pump
Do you use glass to keep the air flow from the compressor out of the laser? It is not entirely clear how you attached this attachment to the laser diode. How do you implement this? Thanks.
Great vid. Question, the link for the head goes to a different head than you used, will this one still work? Also, the air compressor is 220, I am in America and I don't have 220 other than for oven. Can I use any compressor to make it work?

I bought same nozzle and overkill compressor with 50 L tank and two huge electric motors, but all what I can cut is 5mm plywood as without, am I doing something wrong? And second forgot once to turn compressor on and without air cooling the laser lens it cracked, now I am looking for replacement glass in Aliexpress, but no sellers know focal length for this last lens.

flawless; but when these brands start to sell machinery with the predisposition for air assist or with the complete system already included, it will always be too late.
I am not sure what laster cutter to buy, if I should go for the diode or co2. I wanna cut wood, leather, acrylic, foam and so on but I also wanna engrave. If I get diode laser I will probably enclose it and add this mod aswell as pumping air out, I really need some take, is that laser cutter good enought for what I want to use it for? Because co2s are great but really really more expensive :S
