the amount of love for the oxen that just pours in whenever you play Manor Lords is great, they deserve to be treated like holy beings because they are
History nerd here! I’m not sure if it’s an actual game mechanic but using horses to plough was historically considered quite the upgrade from oxen as they were faster and could often carry heavier equipment (per horse that is, oxen used to be strapped into ploughs in pairs). I still love these two fluffy bovines though 😊
I greatly enjoy your series. You might try micro managing more families over to the farm house during harvest/planting seasons. I typically reassign everyone over there and get it done as quickly as possible then just move them back to their normal jobs.
Bought this game after watching your videos 🤭 really love it and hope for more upgrades. Such a fun game. Am just playing this same scenario, but with trading 😅
Thank you for sharing this series. I ,Ike to watch ppl play things like this. Hope more comes soon I'm only on the second one and I hit the series Playlist so I can watch them all. 😊
I love how relaxing these videos are, but I have one pet peeve.. Why no gardens or chickens or goats? I actually love watching them grow their carrots and the chance of getting bees.. Epic! 😂😂
i think in the next episode hes gonna expand the plots of each house to grow vegetables. i think thats what he hinted at, and its what he did last time
13:15 there aren't actually any children in this. It's two men and a woman. This a very progressive medieval society where all women have two husbands 😂
*Sigh* Medieval life seems like it was so much more peaceful and fulfilling. :c I would take this any day over our god-awful 9-5 grind that we have today. I don't care what any of y'all say about disease and hygiene. Still better than living in misery imo
So nice of you to build an ethical zoo for Germans ❤️❤️❤️
We're officially a 3-ox settlement! I agree that that's how we should track the progress of the town in future

When you leave a field fallow it helps to till the soil, to aerate it and shifts the nutrients about so it’s more of an even spread

I love the music! Is it the music from the game or can I find it somewere else? It is just so peaceful and calming 🧡
You should have set up a bunch of mini farms squares that make up 1 or 2 morgens. It’s a lot better, look up videos if u need proof👍
