Lucky bastards 😀. For the longest time (probably a few years even) Flood was kind of a hidden song to me. I listened to it on my CD and the intro was so long that I skipped forward to the end of the album where I found Disgustipated (after songs 10-68 😂) and somehow I figured they were both just parts of this long "parody" track at the end. Those kind of album ending weird songs were pretty common in the 90's alt rock anyways. So while listening to Undertow, I always stopped at 4 degrees as I thought it was the last "actual" song. So when I one day let the whole album run through, my jaw dropped when I heard what a gem of a song came after that long intro. Flood then became my instant favor on that album for years to come. I´ve seen Tool now 4 times since 2001. I think Flood is one of the few songs I haven't heard live yet.
@@jimbriscoe1 Yep and Flood. Because I’ve seen them 12 times now going back to 2001. And the last time they played it was during the Lateralus tour. Even back then it was rare. If they were ever going to play it again it would’ve been in rotation in one of the tours by now.
They played this 05/06 in Paris. When i first heard the notes i was like No way they're gonna play Flood to my friend. And then we started sceaming. Hahaha best band ever created i wish they will come back soon and play a lot more of Undertow/opiate and salival.
