that’s the better thing to do. i changed my trans fluid of my CRX about 8k miles after getting it. it was grinding a little bit so I put some expensive synchromesh in it and it’s amazing. i don’t think i’ve heard 2-3 or 3-4 grind since then. last owner probably used conventional oil

I'm going to stick to manual transmission fluid. Seems to me like engine oil would not have the correct additives for a manual transmission
