the best bait for snapper in nz is whole squid heads with eyes and tentacles. All my 70cm+ fish were on those

Hey Nev, love the videos mate. I've noticed in a few of your videos you talk about snapper with big knobby foreheads/noses being male and just thought I'd let you know that's just a common myth. It is actually due to a condition called hyperostosis which causes excessive bone growth and can occur in both males and females, and occurs more predictably in larger, older fish. Just thought you might find this interesting!

Hey nev im an 11 year old boy whos really keen about fishing I was wonder ing if you had any tips on how to fish western port off a boat at hastings for snapper and gummy shark since we have only gone the twice. And i asked the same question last vid and i really admire your work keep it up. One more question is where do u launch
your kayak and if they are any boat ramps in the area ramps around there
