Open Education for Palestinian Academia: Dealing with Israeli violations to academic freedoms

The Israeli Occupation forces Palestinian Higher Educational Institutions to operate under a severely restricted and closed ecosystem: Access to Palestinian Universities by international academics is closed, access to international students is closed, access to Palestinian students from many parts in Palestine is closed, access to employers and industry is closed, academic freedoms are closed....
While on-line education will provide an important outlet to Palestinian Academia - the denial of Israel of the right of Palestinians to exercise their right to education is a grave violation of human rights.
