Amber’s in all my parties. She’s good for my adventure party because she lights fires for cooking, she activates pyro monuments, she lights bonfires & blows up exploding barrels for challenges, she breaks electro crystals, and she reduces gliding stamina consumption by 20%. She’s good for my combat party because she is the only leveled up pyro I have (for burning mitachurls shields and elemental reactions), she is my only leveled up ranged character, her explosive doll can distract monsters while I attack them, and she can break ruin guards eyeball things. Her only real fault is her constellation isnt anywhere near to as easy to rank up, as compared to lets say, Xiangling, whose been shoved into more banners and events than everyone else now. @@ellyann4603 Not really what is really bad about her is that her kit like zhongli and klee is locked behind constellations and mihoyo knows if these characters had their full kit no one would summon new characters to use or try. The first constellation allows you to shoot 2 charged fire arrows and the second one is twenty percent of your attack. When the baron bunnies are upgraded with 2 constellations you can throw two at the same time detonate them with a charge shot for 200% increased with scaling with hp which I thought was useless at the time. Her ult is not very good for moving targets and the only four ways I know in order to maximize her ult ,the baron bunny or a much more easier way is a freeze composition to the enemy for melt damage, a hard knockdown with a claymore or anemo character like sucrose to suck up the enemy before using it. Now that the shield meta is here using construct to climb while shield allows her to snipe without having to dodge so much to land a critical, and while we are talking about dmg she has one of the only to have a passive bonus to increase her attack on weak spots for 10s no cooldown, meaning anytime you wind up for a charged shot its always lands massive dmg scaled with hr attack with a artifact build on crit fmg and not rate is more important since every weak spot is a crit hit. Kaeya, lisa, barbara and noelle are good but it takes setup in order to use them to their full potential., that what makes them terrible
@@longsuffer Every other DPS at constellation 0 outperforms Amber even if she has full constellation. And lol climbing on top of Traveler's geo construct is an awful strategy if we're talking about DPS performance. Because now not only do you have both Amber and Traveler in your party who are both killing your DPS performance merely by taking up a slot, but you're also wasting time that you could be doing damage by creating the construct and taking the time to climb on top of it. All the while any number of enemies can still hit you. Best case scenario is that you still do poor damage from atop your silly little geo rock. During all that time every other DPS and sub-DPS would have already vastly outperformed Amber.
Well, not that hard. If you find using amber and barbara still hard then put kaeya as well (fast elemental skill cooldown). Still hard as well. Put noelle for protection armor. If it still hard raise their level. Still hard as well put food buff. What you can't still defeat it. Then I'm speechless with that -_-

That's why when I recommended if your healer was barbara use Fisch for support electro. Doesn't have Fisch? Use Lisa is still Ok. Because water elemental great weakness are ice. Ice good against water elemental enemy Fire good against ice elemental enemy Water good against fire elemental enemy Electric and wind more look like conductor Geo isn't useless but their element is neutral so it does nothing :v
I beat oceanid using geo traveler and amber , amber for the bird and traveler for the land monster , geo traveler is super tanky and also high dps , the crystalized shield is damn good

Amber is better against slow moving targets in my opinion. It takes too much time to charge a shot but some mobs make it easy to hit. Idk if i worded it right but okay.
Fun fact you might've missed: Amber cared a lot for her Baron Bunnies and used to name all of them. Well, at least until she lost count around Baron Bunny the 893rd and was forced to give up! Edit: Sucrose too has the same disease. She uses artificially synthesized anemo spirits and names them just like Amber. But, she lost count as well! People who says Amber is useless forget about aim mode. She can't be used like Fischl or Venti, She is a sniper! All her talents show their might while aiming at week spots. Plus she's great at exploration. Not all characters exists soly for combo or dps.
Thats why her Bunny is also a taunt which gives you more time to aim the enemy. But tbf you kinda need C with her to get atleast the double bunny perk.
I mean, it's a heck of a lot faster to just go all LEEROY JENKINS and beat the crap out of an enemy, than taking the time to aim at the weakspot. Amber's only good at Abyss when you need to kill ruin guards.
@@VaygrX Amber is really useful in Abyss floor 9 and 11. Floor 9 buff elemental mastery so even a level 20 amber can deal roughly 2200 damage with her bunny and aimed shots to the electro slimes. Floor 11 has a lot of Ice Slimes and their shield would take forever for Xiangling's bear to break while it takes only 2 shots for amber. And it also gives you a way to break the shield from a safe distance

Shes not useless, her Bunny can taunt/tank. Her ult have low energy cost (40, most of them are 60, and some are 80) Shes a good main dps. Her Bunny after some constelations can be activated by shot. (That ups her about rank B at least) It's just a hard hero to master, and to proc fire in multiple enemys at instant speed. You know who is useless? That emergency food

She’s the type of character you’ll say sucks because she’s one of the hardest characters to manage and cause she scales hp. When in reality if you know how to use her she can be really OP.
she's only useful for exploring aside from that venti and fischl outdo her as far as dps goes, and for Pyro reactions/dmg Xiangling and Diluc just out do her as well.
The tier list is relative, Amber is not necessarily a bad character to use, she's just not as powerful as everyone else. The difference literally could be Amber taking 5 seconds to kill something Fischl will kill in 4, it barely matters but it's clear that there's a difference.

If you play Amber from the start, you'll know what it's like to have to play perfectly. And being that person who did play Amber from the start, I can successfully say that I've learned all the tricks that I can as a mobile Amber main.

All they need to make amber useful is just buff her baron doll, bcs the DMG is akwardly weak, that's all But I still use her as my Pyro Sniper for dealing with electro and ice boss, the DMG per shot is so good. Mostly for breaking their shields and weakspots.

I use amber a lot, like she's in my main line up. for me tho, the reason she's really useful to me is because of the bait doll. That skill is legit a lifesaver.

Her only real fault is her constellation isnt anywhere near to as easy to rank up, as compared to lets say, Xiangling, whose been shoved into more banners and events than everyone else now. Or Diluc who can just turn his brain off because E.Skill go brrrrrrrr. With every new 4 star character/weapon, Kaeya, Lisa and Amber become equally harder to pull.

@@ellyann4603 Not really what is really bad about her is that her kit like zhongli and klee is locked behind constellations and mihoyo knows if these characters had their full kit no one would summon new characters to use or try. The first constellation allows you to shoot 2 charged fire arrows and the second one is twenty percent of your attack. When the baron bunnies are upgraded with 2 constellations you can throw two at the same time detonate them with a charge shot for 200% increased with scaling with hp which I thought was useless at the time. Her ult is not very good for moving targets and the only four ways I know in order to maximize her ult ,the baron bunny or a much more easier way is a freeze composition to the enemy for melt damage, a hard knockdown with a claymore or anemo character like sucrose to suck up the enemy before using it. Now that the shield meta is here using construct to climb while shield allows her to snipe without having to dodge so much to land a critical, and while we are talking about dmg she has one of the only to have a passive bonus to increase her attack on weak spots for 10s no cooldown, meaning anytime you wind up for a charged shot its always lands massive dmg scaled with hr attack with a artifact build on crit fmg and not rate is more important since every weak spot is a crit hit. Kaeya, lisa, barbara and noelle are good but it takes setup in order to use them to their full potential., that what makes them terrible
@@longsuffer Every other DPS at constellation 0 outperforms Amber even if she has full constellation. And lol climbing on top of Traveler's geo construct is an awful strategy if we're talking about DPS performance. Because now not only do you have both Amber and Traveler in your party who are both killing your DPS performance merely by taking up a slot, but you're also wasting time that you could be doing damage by creating the construct and taking the time to climb on top of it. All the while any number of enemies can still hit you. Best case scenario is that you still do poor damage from atop your silly little geo rock. During all that time every other DPS and sub-DPS would have already vastly outperformed Amber.

Well, not that hard. If you find using amber and barbara still hard then put kaeya as well (fast elemental skill cooldown). Still hard as well. Put noelle for protection armor. If it still hard raise their level. Still hard as well put food buff. What you can't still defeat it. Then I'm speechless with that -_-

That's why when I recommended if your healer was barbara use Fisch for support electro. Doesn't have Fisch? Use Lisa is still Ok. Because water elemental great weakness are ice.

Amber is better against slow moving targets in my opinion. It takes too much time to charge a shot but some mobs make it easy to hit.

People who says Amber is useless forget about aim mode. She can't be used like Fischl or Venti, She is a sniper! All her talents show their might while aiming at week spots. Plus she's great at exploration. Not all characters exists soly for combo or dps.
Thats why her Bunny is also a taunt which gives you more time to aim the enemy. But tbf you kinda need C with her to get atleast the double bunny perk.
I mean, it's a heck of a lot faster to just go all LEEROY JENKINS and beat the crap out of an enemy, than taking the time to aim at the weakspot. Amber's only good at Abyss when you need to kill ruin guards.
@@VaygrX Amber is really useful in Abyss floor 9 and 11. Floor 9 buff elemental mastery so even a level 20 amber can deal roughly 2200 damage with her bunny and aimed shots to the electro slimes. Floor 11 has a lot of Ice Slimes and their shield would take forever for Xiangling's bear to break while it takes only 2 shots for amber. And it also gives you a way to break the shield from a safe distance

By enemies, I mostly mean storm spirit (or something like that, I don't remember the exact name). This guy can fly and for me staying out of his range and constantly shooting at him is the easiest way.

A tier list is made to compare characters. Shes technically not useless. Shes just worse than all the other 24 characters in the game. Shes the worst archer and the worst pyro in the game. mihoyo should buff her ult dmg for sure, its ridiculusly bad compared to the other pyro ults.

@@Pramit2000 Mona does way more dmg than amber. The omen debuff that her ult puts on enemies is broken. Combined with chongyun or a electro dps, its broken. Mona is a 5star for a reason. I like amber cuz as a f2p, shes the only pyro i can use besides xiangling. But she kinda sucks. I agree that her E needs a buff too
