if you mean the one where he randomly teleports to you, you can easily avoid that, if you were marked by childe's attack (you can see if you are marked if the is a strange symbol on your character) run to the wall it gets you the vaporized effect, doesnt damage you(maybe i didnt check when fighting him) and it removes the mark, it works for all phases
I use lvl 60 ningguang with trash lvl 4-5 artifacts against lvl 80 childe lol just learn to dodge attacks and always run to the walls amd quickly get rid of the mark

5:45 this can actually be avoided if you run towards the corner of the field. It will trigger overload since there is somehow pyro in the barrier which will automatically cancel the one shot kill. To add more it'll unlock an achievement if u finished it without getting attacked by that one shot
definitely, unless your character is way too tanky that it would only scratch the first phase mark can be cancelled the same way with vaporize but that deals little damage compared to the third phase so that's the real problem the other way to avoid dying when you don't have enough stamina to run to the corner is to activate Barbara's ultimate when he drops down. She's immune during ultimate so she would not take any damage on that one shot
@@laiel3461 Same thing with Klee´s ultimate. I guess this works with every character, that has a longer animation. So it should work with Venti too (don´t have him so I am not sure) and I can´t think of other characters with animation lol
get in those quests and I'm sure you'll get close to AR 35+ soon enough, then whenever you have nothing much to do or run out of resin, just try and farm the materials that you need to ascend your characters. Btw I beat Childe in 2 tries with level 50 characters so you don't have to be at some high level like most that are making these vids, just gotta correctly build your characters. GL :)

Beidou and Neolle's skills can also help you avoid the one-shot ability as Beidou is able to transfer the damage to the enemy instead and becomes invulnerable during that phase, however takes a couple thousand damage still due to this attack being so powerful but definitely takes way less than if you were to go against him without anything to do. Neolle's shield may do the same except the damage doesn't transfer onto Childe after the attack and I believe she still takes damage just like Beidou since the attack just consists of so much damage.
Saw someone beat this boss with Amber in about 10 minutes. And apparently the technique is to just keep running and not get hit by his attacks. If you do, u get marked. Then you cant do anything at all about that undodgeable attack.

this was genuinely one of the funniest things ive seen today. also, just a quick tip, if he "sigils" you by making the triangle thing pop up you can get rid of it by running to the edge of the arena! it helps to avoid the electro one shot! :)
Here’s something I learned that makes defeating childe a bit easier, his one shot hit thingy in his final phase can be avoided if you go to the wall when I appears or is about to strike!
Pov: you're teaming in the chikde domain, you're all level 60. Suddenly one of the dudes in co-op pulls out a level 90 childe and solos everything while you guys just watch and talk in th chat.
Everytime I go against Childe I get so triggered... boss Childe has some really cool abilities and 5 star Childe has some time to stab before getting a 30 second cooldown where all he can do is go pew pew
man, i hadn't pass nowhere yet, i was suppose to go to the dungeon with amber in the start of the game! laptop gave up after that! looks like i have to exit some chrome tabs, restart laptop
He is on 1 set gladiators and 3 other random artifacts. I just put my best +20 artifacts on him from my other units for the video. If I were to build him I would use 1 set Noblesse Oblige and 1 set Gamblers set to maximize damage on his skill and burst. Eventually I think they will add a hydro bonus damage set similar to the existing thunderbird(electro dmg) and crimson witch set(pyro dmg), so I'll wait for that since there are already too many resin sinks.
for all my childe mains out there, the childe boss has resistance to hydro (not sure about electro though), so you’re better off staying in range form unless you got beast mode melee

Everytime I go against Childe I get so triggered... boss Childe has some really cool abilities and 5 star Childe has some time to stab before getting a 30 second cooldown where all he can do is go pew pew

lmaooooo it took me 10+ tries to beat him it wasn't fun. whats your build on childe?
He is on 1 set gladiators and 3 other random artifacts. I just put my best +20 artifacts on him from my other units for the video. If I were to build him I would use 1 set Noblesse Oblige and 1 set Gamblers set to maximize damage on his skill and burst. Eventually I think they will add a hydro bonus damage set similar to the existing thunderbird(electro dmg) and crimson witch set(pyro dmg), so I'll wait for that since there are already too many resin sinks.
He was actually pretty ez with lvl 60 chars. Even the domain fight after was pretty ez too
it was okay for me even w my full team of just lvl 50 characts i was surprised i did it first try :0
for all my childe mains out there, the childe boss has resistance to hydro (not sure about electro though), so you’re better off staying in range form unless you got beast mode melee
