I love how candid she is about aging. I don’t understand why people act like it’s a terrible thing. Like Ms. Adams said, your life isn’t over.

Loved this interview and Yolanda's take on aging. "As soon as we get here we're aging. Because we're gonna do that for the rest of our lives ... there's all this wisdom that I've gained over these years that I want to share with people." 💎 We often get caught up with being "too" something. Too rich to be related to, too poor to be taken seriously, too young to start, too old to start over. The world may try to put limits on us but we don't have to accept those limits. I started crying about my age at 24 and finally at 35 I realized that all that worrying about aging didn't make me any younger lol I refuse to let fear of a natural process cause anxiety to run rampant. I am free of society's standards!
To the person reading this I want you to know every year you are on this earth is a chance for you to bless the world with the greatness God put inside of you and your continued wisdom. Your strengths, your weaknesses, your wins. and your failures are all part of your testimony.

The alternative to aging is dying.
So, she doesn’t believe in ageism but she clearly judged the “60 year old rapper”. 🤔 However old you are, if you’re still living you can start something new or continue being great for however long you live.
She didn't judge the rapper.. based on her experience in life and living she expressed he would not be someone she wanted to date... Experience and age can prevent toy from making.. easy.. mistakes... she never said... no one else should either. That would be judgment.. imho imjesayin
