Amazing job !!! Beautiful !! We sing this song in our little old Primitive Baptist church in eastern Kentucky. ::: Haunting sound, riding on the edge of a slow moving storm… ::: you done great….
wow you know this song? i love tone and melody: especially when they conflict This song is so rad. I don't recognize the tune It's so cool to hear people to sing the old songs
Thank you Heavenly Father for leading this wonderful young soul to the roots of bluegrass and country which is centred around Jesus and knowing Him eternally. Holy Ghost, continue to draw Nora and the generation she represents to The Compassionate, Loving arms of Christ Jesus!
If the ocean were whiskey and I were a duck, I'd swim to the bottom and drink my way up. But the ocean ain't whiskey and I ain't a duck, I'll keep playing jack o diamonds and pushing my luck...now that just ain't very Christian is it? Bluegrass thrives on the tritone (devil's interval) but I have a feeling Jesus would have dug it, I understand he was a compassionate guy who was good at listening
I love Nora's performances. I'm not musically trained , so i would describe her as "Absolutely Accurate" , such a high regard for the artists Nora covers. i think it's called timing. peace.
Next Sacred Harp tunes to try out, Nora? Mear, Africa, Ninety-third psalm, David's Lamentation, Here in the VIneyard? Great interpretation, thanks for creating and sharing!

It was a bit unsettling to see you without a banjo in your hands but was beautiful. 👍
love the tones here
idk the origin of the melody and idc bc it's so lush. all these tones
Whoa , mysteriously delicious. WOW!!!
please come to japan again!
Beautiful! For me it would be even better if the fiddle were dropped in gain some- seemed to overwhelm the vocal at times.
IMHO fiddles seem to do that.
