I know it won't happen but if I could concoct a dream scenario Gen 10 game, it would basically be the Pokemon game to end all Pokemon games, starts with just the Japan-based regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh), you get to pick which region and city you wanna start in, and then they add each other existing region as DLC and eventually after a few years of support the game essentially has every region and Pokemon.

It is in fact surface random. In Japanese Titan Pokémon are known as Totem Pokémon (yes the same name as the Alolan Totem Pokemon.) The fact that Titan Pokémon exists in SV is really just a coincidence in the localizing part.
the gods idea works too well, especially after the titan hint, Soul! One of the paths being a god-centered quest w/ maybe the 3 main elgendaries, then 7-10 other sub legendaries you have to help as you travel, and maybe they feud with each other, etc. Could be a cool dynamic in game!

I have heard a lot of people speculating that gen 10 will be another Kanto game, because of it being the 30th anniversary. Which I feel is unlikely, since lets go was not that long ago. However a game where you can go to multiple regions. I could see that being a big possibility. You are celebrating all the regions from the last 30 years. I think that would be a great way to celebrate the anniversary. It would be a huge task to do for one game, but maybe you could get a new region for gen 10, and DLC for each other region? and like they said it doesn't have to be a full region but a section of each. Though I think it would be so awesome if they made a region hopping game that you could do a full gym run in each region. Maybe the switch 2 could handle a game like that. I wouldn't even be mad if each region was it's own paid DLC at that point.

I can't believe you talked about "expanding legendary trios" and didn't mention Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza when it's right in our faces and a huge missed opportunity if not taken advantage of. We have Omega, Alpha, and Delta, make a new Legendary trio, also weather based maybe, similar in design to the Hoenn three and are also Greek letters; Gamma, Kappa, Beta, etc.

The map of greece regarding lands is not accurate, in terms that there are more islands than that. The first blood line of olympian gods includes zeus,hera poseidon, hades, hestia and demeter. All of them were brothers/sisters, not just Zeus, hades, and poseidon. Also, Hades,although an important deity, is not an olympian god. Everything is not involved around zeus, poseidon and hades. Everthing revolves around Zeus almost exclusively. GAIA wasnt the mother of the olympian gods. Where are you reading all of this bs? Rhea was the mother of the first blood line of olympian gods, (which however fits the theme of gen 10 being Pokemon wind and wave, Rhea means something that flows/flowing) and kronus was the father. Titans came b4 olympian god, but gaia came b4 the titans, she is the mother of the titans (and other entities).
There is a lot of potential for some awesome Pokémon in Greek myth. Off the top of my head the fire type starter should be a three headed dog. Maybe it starts a fire dog and gets 2 heads in stage 2, and 3 in stage 3 like Hydreigon. I think a Hippocampus should be the water starters final sage not a legendary. and there is probably a better option for the grass starter but it could be a minotaur or maybe a centaur. The dragon type could be a cockatrice, since we already have a hydra in Hydreigon. The legendary trio should obviously be based on Zeus, Pasidon, and Hades. I would say birds but a bird version of Zeus is just Zapdos. So I don't know what form they should take, but I really think they could do great things with this.
Makes sense for region hopping as well with a new console as it would hit older fans who have money for a new console and game. It makes the most sense to follow up 1st open world game with our 1st thought, what if it was like gold and silver but bigger.
I hope the Greek gods become something like the 'paradox' and 'ultra beasts', like a group of upper tier Pokemon, who could be restricted in certain VGC formats
You know who has done “Island hopping” / “open area travel” game mapping really really well in video games… Star Wars…. Most recently the Fallen Order series, or even much farther back, the KOTOR series. GF wouldn’t even need to update their production value or have an aesthetic overhaul to give us the magic that KOTOR did 15+ years ago.
Wind and waves would make alot of since and travel. Travel among the seas or travel through the skies and mother earth being travel and adventure through earth and exploration could be a big thing in the game

46:04 Hades wasn’t one of the Olympians because people were afraid of cthonic, death gods and didn’t like talking about them. But he was one of the big 3 oldest brothers. Kinda. (They technically born last but Kronos ate them and their sisters except for Zeus and when they were thrown up, they came out in reverse order) Gaia had the Titans including Kronos and Rhea who had the Gods.
I mean we do already have a character named Charon from Team Galactic and so maybe they could just bring him back and he has developed a way to traverse the Pokemon version of the River Styx
in nexomon you went to this place called the nether world. It’s like the underworld but they made it look so sick and the story was sick. better than the distortion world imo but then again I haven’t played platinum in like 15 years. the original God in nexomon was like the devil. The player character was the hero. And then all of the original God’s children’s were like the Demi gods of the typings that you had to stop as gym leaders. they were nexomon that could transform into humans. there were also titans that were underneath the children of omnicron (the devil god). the nexomons gods child, god of earth saw the good in humanity and helped the hero save the world and lock away her father (the devil) in some sort of inception type illusion. The story went very deep and was well thought out even more so than most Pokémon games I would say I hope Pokémon can do something like this but better. it would be great to see a game like that, but with Pokémon’s gameplay mechanics and gimmicks and in HD 3D
If they have all this exploration, i hope they allow us to use our pokemon in the overworld eg Lanturn can use dive and flash. Surf and fish using large surfing pokemon ect. Even if its 10 pokemon each skill i just hope its not box legendary again.
Sv could’ve used another dlc that added synchro to the mainland or a post story with the team star members and an improvement to the star battle systems in that blocked off area on the map
I want a focus on the adventure for gen 10 I havent felt that sense of adventure exploring a pokemon region in several generations. I hope thats the angle the capitilize on with the new hardware
I have high hopes for gen 10 because of the fact that even though SV sold very well, the initial backlash to the awful performance was such that Nintando actually gave out refunds. They NEVER do that. I wouldn't be surprised if after that, Nintendo said to game freak "that CANNOT happen again, make sure you cross your t's and dot your i's this time." Also, a minotaur evolution for Tauros sounds absolutely incredible!
I hope the official reveals won't be like sun and moon. Only 18 of the total 98 pokemon and alolan forms where not shown before the release of the game. I'd like for atleast 2/3 of the new pokemon to be a secret when I start playing

What if gamefreak wants to suprrise us and we all think we get a new region but we really get sun and moon 2 , Za has megas Sun and moon had megas and got released for the 25th anniversary, so Sun and moon 2 for the 30th anniversary makes sense, they could expand the islands do more regional forms of old pokemon and it also fits with the island hopping theme
Just to throw a curveball Gen 10 will be based in Australia since it’s known for its wildlands and danger. “Gaia” known as Greek goddess could also be used as a reference to state this upcoming game will be “colossal” or something to reference a major change in the pokemon algorithm
I feel a national dex is a requirement for gen 10. There are only 6 Pokémon family's not on the switch, and like they said only like 200ish not in scarlet and violet. To show off the new switch 2 you HAVE to have a national dex, and the people want it. So many people were calling for a national dex in scarlet and violet. Not having a national dex in gen 10 would be a huge mistake. Even if the only way to get some of them is to transfer them in from Pokémon Home. They already have 3D models for basically all of them. So most of the work is already done.
I'd hope they fix a few of the "issues" the series has been carrying around since gen 1, but to them they're not so much issues, they're money schemes. Two versions, sabotaging the games to lock out certain pokémon to only one of them...and evolutions that require actions outside of the game...like trade evolutions. I know most people have just accepted it, just like they've accepted Bethesda Games being glitchy and buggy messes. But forcing people to either buy a second game and system, or at least purchase online functionality and seek outside help online in the hope of not getting robbed of your favorite pokémon that you want to evolve...a game should be feature complete. Multiplayer is a fun addition to a single player game and that is what Pokémon is.
Guys gen 10 is going to release in 2025 , you just don’t want to believe it , every 3 years we get a new generation, you all said that about gen 9 because of legends Arceus and it’s can’t be 2 main games in same year , and guess what? ? I don't want to see a new gimmick in gen 10 either. I want to see returns of old gimmicks. I played Gen 1 and 2 and came back in Gen 9 and then played gen 8 and legends after. So I never played a lot of the old gimmicks. So a game using old gimmicks or multiple gimmicks is a good idea.
It really timer to let the player choose the Pokemon and there own career path at less 4 or 5 career path you can deside on what the player like to do and not the game the story line should be the same just making a difference to help the town professional or take on gym or contest or detective
They should just put all regions and all existing pokemon in one game. No new pokemon, no new region, just like a best of of the series. With a top down 3d style a la x y but higher graphics.

Please no more open world. Gamefreak already proved that they are not capable of developing a rich huge world. SV was so empty and the maps details were terrible. Sword and shield was beautiful compared to SV (not the wild area lol) and I really hope we go back to that art style with more details.

Pokémon just needs to rest for better quality. Getting a Japanese reboot would have helped. Japanese companies should have ignored what other countries think. The Japanese uniqueness is why people happen to love the stuff to begin with. I would have preferred Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum being remade or have loose sequels with the extra fun mechanics made by better companies.

I have heard a lot of people speculating that gen 10 will be another Kanto game, because of it being the 30th anniversary. Which I feel is unlikely, since lets go was not that long ago. However a game where you can go to multiple regions. I could see that being a big possibility. You are celebrating all the regions from the last 30 years. I think that would be a great way to celebrate the anniversary. It would be a huge task to do for one game, but maybe you could get a new region for gen 10, and DLC for each other region? and like they said it doesn't have to be a full region but a section of each. Though I think it would be so awesome if they made a region hopping game that you could do a full gym run in each region. Maybe the switch 2 could handle a game like that. I wouldn't even be mad if each region was it's own paid DLC at that point.
Pokémon Snap would be a cool introduction to Pokémon in VR, I know it wouldn’t be on a Nintendo console but it would be so cool

I can't believe you talked about "expanding legendary trios" and didn't mention Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza when it's right in our faces and a huge missed opportunity if not taken advantage of. We have Omega, Alpha, and Delta, make a new Legendary trio, also weather based maybe, similar in design to the Hoenn three and are also Greek letters; Gamma, Kappa, Beta, etc.

The map of greece regarding lands is not accurate, in terms that there are more islands than that. The first blood line of olympian gods includes zeus,hera poseidon, hades, hestia and demeter. All of them were brothers/sisters, not just Zeus, hades, and poseidon. Also, Hades,although an important deity, is not an olympian god. Everything is not involved around zeus, poseidon and hades. Everthing revolves around Zeus almost exclusively. GAIA wasnt the mother of the olympian gods. Where are you reading all of this bs? Rhea was the mother of the first blood line of olympian gods, (which however fits the theme of gen 10 being Pokemon wind and wave, Rhea means something that flows/flowing) and kronus was the father. Titans came b4 olympian god, but gaia came b4 the titans, she is the mother of the titans (and other entities).

I hope they do what they did with gen VII. Having a dip-feed of new Pokemon (but not ALL of them) was tremendously cool and generated hype.
There is a lot of potential for some awesome Pokémon in Greek myth. Off the top of my head the fire type starter should be a three headed dog. Maybe it starts a fire dog and gets 2 heads in stage 2, and 3 in stage 3 like Hydreigon. I think a Hippocampus should be the water starters final sage not a legendary. and there is probably a better option for the grass starter but it could be a minotaur or maybe a centaur. The dragon type could be a cockatrice, since we already have a hydra in Hydreigon. The legendary trio should obviously be based on Zeus, Pasidon, and Hades. I would say birds but a bird version of Zeus is just Zapdos. So I don't know what form they should take, but I really think they could do great things with this.

Makes sense for region hopping as well with a new console as it would hit older fans who have money for a new console and game. It makes the most sense to follow up 1st open world game with our 1st thought, what if it was like gold and silver but bigger.
I hope the Greek gods become something like the 'paradox' and 'ultra beasts', like a group of upper tier Pokemon, who could be restricted in certain VGC formats

(They technically born last but Kronos ate them and their sisters except for Zeus and when they were thrown up, they came out in reverse order)

in nexomon you went to this place called the nether world. It’s like the underworld but they made it look so sick and the story was sick. better than the distortion world imo but then again I haven’t played platinum in like 15 years. the original God in nexomon was like the devil. The player character was the hero. And then all of the original God’s children’s were like the Demi gods of the typings that you had to stop as gym leaders. they were nexomon that could transform into humans. there were also titans that were underneath the children of omnicron (the devil god). the nexomons gods child, god of earth saw the good in humanity and helped the hero save the world and lock away her father (the devil) in some sort of inception type illusion. The story went very deep and was well thought out even more so than most Pokémon games I would say I hope Pokémon can do something like this but better. it would be great to see a game like that, but with Pokémon’s gameplay mechanics and gimmicks and in HD 3D

If they have all this exploration, i hope they allow us to use our pokemon in the overworld eg Lanturn can use dive and flash. Surf and fish using large surfing pokemon ect. Even if its 10 pokemon each skill i just hope its not box legendary again.
Sv could’ve used another dlc that added synchro to the mainland or a post story with the team star members and an improvement to the star battle systems in that blocked off area on the map
i hope the main game is large and the dlc as big as they can make it.

I have high hopes for gen 10 because of the fact that even though SV sold very well, the initial backlash to the awful performance was such that Nintando actually gave out refunds. They NEVER do that. I wouldn't be surprised if after that, Nintendo said to game freak "that CANNOT happen again, make sure you cross your t's and dot your i's this time."
Also, a minotaur evolution for Tauros sounds absolutely incredible!

What if gamefreak wants to suprrise us and we all think we get a new region but we really get sun and moon 2 , Za has megas Sun and moon had megas and got released for the 25th anniversary, so Sun and moon 2 for the 30th anniversary makes sense, they could expand the islands do more regional forms of old pokemon and it also fits with the island hopping theme

I feel a national dex is a requirement for gen 10. There are only 6 Pokémon family's not on the switch, and like they said only like 200ish not in scarlet and violet. To show off the new switch 2 you HAVE to have a national dex, and the people want it. So many people were calling for a national dex in scarlet and violet. Not having a national dex in gen 10 would be a huge mistake. Even if the only way to get some of them is to transfer them in from Pokémon Home. They already have 3D models for basically all of them. So most of the work is already done.
Gaia is a titan though. She's also the mother of most titans not only the gods.

It would be interesting if you talked more about others islands, you briethly talked about indonesia for exemple, and not 80% Greece.
I'd hope they fix a few of the "issues" the series has been carrying around since gen 1, but to them they're not so much issues, they're money schemes. Two versions, sabotaging the games to lock out certain pokémon to only one of them...and evolutions that require actions outside of the game...like trade evolutions.
I know most people have just accepted it, just like they've accepted Bethesda Games being glitchy and buggy messes. But forcing people to either buy a second game and system, or at least purchase online functionality and seek outside help online in the hope of not getting robbed of your favorite pokémon that you want to evolve...a game should be feature complete. Multiplayer is a fun addition to a single player game and that is what Pokémon is.

I don't want to see a new gimmick in gen 10 either. I want to see returns of old gimmicks. I played Gen 1 and 2 and came back in Gen 9 and then played gen 8 and legends after. So I never played a lot of the old gimmicks. So a game using old gimmicks or multiple gimmicks is a good idea.
It really timer to let the player choose the Pokemon and there own career path at less 4 or 5 career path you can deside on what the player like to do and not the game the story line should be the same just making a difference to help the town professional or take on gym or contest or detective

Please no more open world. Gamefreak already proved that they are not capable of developing a rich huge world. SV was so empty and the maps details were terrible. Sword and shield was beautiful compared to SV (not the wild area lol) and I really hope we go back to that art style with more details.

Pokémon just needs to rest for better quality. Getting a Japanese reboot would have helped. Japanese companies should have ignored what other countries think. The Japanese uniqueness is why people happen to love the stuff to begin with. I would have preferred Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum being remade or have loose sequels with the extra fun mechanics made by better companies.
