I remember seeing this on facebook after so many years. I was playing xbox scrolling through and saw the video and stopped to listen. My headset picked it up and everyone in our xbox party chat starting singing it. All of us are close to 30. Such fun memories of this show.
*When I was younger, my friend and I used to sing this song when we were playing. She died a couple years ago and this is the first time I am hearing this song since. I started crying instantly. I couldn't stop. I couldn't talk. I miss her...*
So much chemistry. No sexual tension between the two but you felt a sense of romance, its a warm feeling and works for a kids show thats supposed to be unadulterated. I swore they're married in real life but they live separate lives lol
This was the car ride song when I was little. Me and my Mother would sing this constantly on rides to school, another destination, whatever. Wish I could find the full series again so I could show my kids in the future and let them see GOOD entertainment. Not all the CGI stuff now. Real stuff. This song is a representation of youth in the 90s. It's innocence brings me to tears when I hear your guys' harmony again - it's a tune that never escapes my memory, and I found myself humming subconsciously awhile back. I credit Box to bringing out imagination in A Analog age where kids didn't have a lot to keep themselves entertained, where shows like this inspired and made afternoons fun and exciting. im one of those nostalgia nuts but can you blame me? They cant reboot what Tony and Vivian brought to the show. Out of the Box is definitely something I'll never forget and I appreciate till this very day
I'm 19 and I loved Out Of The Box growing up. I used to watch this in Kindergarten during free time and always looked forward to it. This show taught me various life lessons that I still utilize today. It's crazy how time flies, though. I leave for college in a few hours and I'm excited/nervous/scared all at the same time. Thank you Tony and Vivian for making my childhood wonderful.
i def feel this show influenced me so much as a child to grow up and live the life of an artist. i never forgot the name of the show, it was always that prevalent and real to me. like others have said i was in love with the idea of that simple cardboard hut housing the set they did each episode in. thank you tony.
Man....I remember watching playhouse Disney with my brother everyday right before school and when I stayed home sick. Looking back now, these shows were so comforting. I didn't have much growing up but I loved my childhood. I'm glad I have these shows as memories that take me back to those simpler times.

Oh my gosh. That Disney logo. Man, the nostalgic feeling I get when I see this stuff. I LOVED singing goodbye with them. I watched this every day. And I was ready for that hand rub, snap & clap moment. I would sing with them sometimes. But if I didn't feel like singing, I would at least do that part. EVERY... single.. time. I loved this show. But I would feel sad when it came to this part. I would probably binge on this as a kid, if that option was available. But once it was over, it was over. I always felt sad when they started singing goodbye. But I watched it until the end. I will always love Out of the box! It's how I live my life.
I hope I can find many episodes of Out of the Box to show my future children. My husband and I both watched it when we were little. I remember sitting criss-cross-apple-sause on my bean bag chair watching this and Scooby Do! (my favorites!) I also enjoyed Zoom, The Chalkzone, and many other shows I can't even remember the names of. I am so greatful for my lovely and blissful childhood. Thanks so much for uploading!

so i was very very young when i used to watch this show (it ended when i was only 4), and i couldn't remember anything about it except this song. i would find myself singing "so long, farewell, to you, my friend..." and it would drive me crazy because i could never remember where i'd heard it! finally i asked my mom and she said, "oh, it's from out of the box! your favorite show when you were little." thanks for uploading this, i come back to it a lot and it makes me happy on bad days.

The only show I actually made things from!!! Made a huge fort when my mom left and went to the store one day and told her when she arrived home that Its time we got more creative. When she didn't understand I explained that It's more fun and creative (autmosphere) when you're playing 'In the Box' :D She actually played with me in that huge fort before we put it down... But she let me keep it over the weekend cuz you could play video games in it and my cousin and I were entertained for the weekend :D I had a very difficult for you, Vivian as well as the show staff for one of my most precious memories, and letting me remember it again!! Made a huge fort when my mom left and went to the store one day and told her when she arrived home that Its time we got more creative. When she didn't understand I explained that It's more fun and creative (autmosphere) when you're playing 'In the Box' :D
She actually played with me in that huge fort before we put it down...
But she let me keep it over the weekend cuz you could play video games in it and my cousin and I were entertained for the weekend :D

memes aside this was deadass the best show of my childhood and honestly it makes me cry whenever i see any clips or especially listen to this song bc it was so magical to me as a kid and it just brings me back to that feeling and ARGH. really shaped me as a person in the best possible way and just. i want to hug this show. i wanna hug it good.
I don’t know why all of a sudden this popped into my head but I’ve been humming all day but couldn’t remember what show it was from but I remembered the lyrics and it brought me right here....I didn’t watch this show a lot sadly but the few times I did has obviously stuck with me
