Now I moved country to escape Odoroshi but she somehow found me. She appeared in my living room, stared, immobile, at my white, unfurnished wall for 4 hours, then turned, looked at me in the eyes and said "Your videogame choice sucks" and left. I don't own any video game...

Earndil automatically made the best villain so far this campaign
He really outdid himself this time.
Also has the highest kill count of all of the villains so far
Always a joy when Earndill goes mad with power.
A quick theory: Baldric is a noble and is related to the hegemon. He is wearing the bucket in order to not be discovered do to his RED Hair. And Khronch is pretty sus.

I hope one of the players realizes how potentially useful Prance could be. Seriously, a lowlife gambler who’s actually good at gambling? Either he could become a passive source of income or favors. Like a guard at some event owes Prance a lot of money, and maybe Prance will forgive that debt if the guard leaves a door unlocked and unguarded…
I see so much potential in this character.
Nah, it would be better if he becomes the group’s Judas and stabs them in the back or he was the one who murdered Vali. That way, the gang becomes obsessed with hunting him down and getting revenge, starting the Kill Prance saga or arc.

Lowlife followers can be quite useful when used right.

I have a feeling our boy Khronch's turtle back effect is there to counterbalance how jacked up his stats are. Maybe if he ever take off that armor he is going to be walking at light speed for the naked eye.

When the tyrant’s guild moon said to Tanhausser “Guess I’m ridiculous too.”, all I could hear in that moment was MGR’s It Has To Be This Way.
Sgt waincroft needs to be a recurring villain for Tanhauser to fight. They just form that friendly rivals/honored enemies relationship. Always clashing and fighting but no one ever gets that killing blow

I'm starting to think the only way Erandil can cope with everyone else's fuckery is that Thurston has to give him an episode per series where he gets to murder hobo everything. Just shows therapy works! 😂

This almost brought back PTSD from ep 29 of Warhams, and then that out of nowhere plot twist at the end, your story writer is giving my neck whiplash and I LOVE IT! Can't wait to see where it goes from here!

I think you'll find we all love Earndil's chaotic side.
Many moons ago, we got to see him roleplay a very taciturn and serious man of the Ordo Xenos, who in turn roleplayed an absolutely insufferable prat wearing glasses. Reeb Van Horne was a sane man in an insane galaxy, and its only gotten better and better role-playing from all of them since.
We always have that dramatic intro before things descend into "chuckle-fuck"-induced chaos once more lol

I both learned something and confirmed something today.
I learned not to make Earndil angry, and I confirmed my suspicions about the pool and how the rot will work in this campaign.
And I really, really, REALLY want more.
You guys don't know how hard I'm laughing at this episode, I fricken love you guys so much.
2:43:52 has a continuity error: the saws are at the front of the vehicle, and it just reversed, so they couldnt be used
Maybe it had smaller sawmounth in between the rear axles? It's not like people are gonna be less dead if the sawmounth was not beinging used, considering that they were being chrushed to death be a several ton weighing steampunk monstrosity that accidentally reversed onto them.
What are rules, really though?
Technically, there is no facing rules as they have stated multiple times already this series.

Damn, that was an awesome, intense episode with all of that combat happening, that Chainsaw Car was no frickin' joke, but I love that the players can play as villainous NPCs in some scenes :D Not only that, but Earndil not pulling any punches, major respect. And considering the inspirations for the world of Rotgrind, I should've seen that ending coming :P For the algorithm!
Being there live for the |twist| and [the buildup] to it was intense... but what a ride!
I'm so glad I held off on waiting for the last few episodes because this and the last are a great couple to binge at once. Fantastic work guys. I've seen more popular tabletop productions put to shame at your level of dialog and storytelling. Can't wait to see where this adventure goes.
I feel this session was Erandil venting all his pent up insanity from always having to be the level headed one

The ending makes sense, considering this is loosely based on the Dark Souls universe.

Also, word to the wise for any newer players? DON'T DO WHAT EARNDIL DID. You will immediately lose trust with your group, and you *will* end up being outed from the campaign.
Seconded. Narrative fuckery is a power reserved for the DM, who must use it gracefully & with caution. Well established groups who have mutually respectful play can have a little fuckery, as a treat, but I wouldn't trust most players not to abuse it.
Agreed. Baldric as a character was already annoyingly whiny, and Earndil as a player wasn't much better, and this is all made worse by him being the "main character" despite being completely uncompelling.
This episode made me dislike him immensely and I'm not sure if I really want to keep listening to the series after this episode. It's certainly made me rethink my decision to join their Patreon.
@@ahorseofcourse7283 Well part of it stems from Earndil helping write the setting. He knows a lot about it and he also likes playing the asshole character. He's the straight man to a bunch of murderous crazy people. It's a game and everyone was having fun. Which is the important thing at the end of the day

Complications system... does speakerD speak a 2nd language. It would be hilarious if in response to a one his settings glitch and he can only speak a 2nd for a time duration

I just hope Thurston learned from War Hams and isn't going to have another ridiculously-hard-to-kill worm monster again. I'm all for him being cheeky with equally cheeky players, but that battle just dragged on and on and wasn't fun for anyone.
Then again, seeing as how they seem to be capping points at 3, it hopefully won't get too ridiculous.

I was a little disappointed at first because a decent chunk was wrapping up last sessions combat, but then the fuckin CHAINSAW CAR came out! (I enjoy the combat but i do prefer the rp shenanafuckles you guys get into [just my preference])
It’s a matter of taste. Some people like the roleplaying, some prefer the roll playing, they’re both fine choices.

This is as far as I've watched so far, and I'm calling it at this point: Glubtalk is the massively OP self insert character that everyone hates but keeps delivering useful Deus Ex Machina, and ultimately turns out to basically be an elemental god in disguise who's chosen these people to do his will.
That or they all turn out to be stuck in virtual reality and the pool is a Final Fantasy save point.
