As a Braves fan I didn't feel comfortable until it was 7-0, bottom of the ninth with 2 outs. I figured if they can get 7 runs before we get 1 out, they can have it.
I can't believe Mets fans were pulling for the Atlanta braves to win it.... Very surprising the way Greg maddux Tom glavine and chipper Jones beat up on them all those years in the 90s...

@@wagonfixer16 I go at least that far, plus much further. Can you name all Braves line ups over the last 50 years in 15 minutes? Because I can, easily. I can do that for most teams, some all the way to the 1920s. Just hate when men try to show me up, when they have no idea who they’re dealing with. Worked for the Boston Garden for 15 years and the Padres for 12. Few men can even compete with me in the Big Four - and try this on for size: identify Rick DeMont; the silver medalist of the 1936 men’s 200 meter race (hint: his youngest brother is one of the most famous athletes of all time) and the horse that spoiled Smarty Jones’ hopes for the triple crown. While we’re at it, describe Vern Taylor’s groundbreaking achievement. All without looking it up. Bet you can’t!

Stealing signals cannot win a 7 game series. It can definitely score some runs, but a 7 game win? Impossible. Look, I like your Dodgers, but your team lost in 2017 because its pitching faltered. I was there for every game. Other than one game in the 2016 NLCS and pitching in the 2020 WS, Clayton Kershaw is a post season pitching nightmare. The Cardinals had his number every time they faced him in the post season. Ditto other teams. Yu Darvish was also dreadful in the 2017 series. Bobby Thompson has a lot more guilt with his shot heard round the world in 1951, against the Brooklyn Dodgers. That’s when sign stealing wins games - individual players, individual games. Not a whole freaking series. Give the Astros a break. They simply had the better team. What about that joke of a WS title the Dodgers “won” in 1981? They shouldn’t have even been there. Cincinnati had the best record in baseball, but due to a strike shortened season, the MLB chose the old Texas League style method of playoffs, and Cincy was completely shut out of the playoffs. Neither NY or LA should have been there, but it’s funny what the MLB will do for ratings. I don’t even consider the 1981 a real WS - asterisks out the wazoo. The Dodgers were the only team to win more than one WS title in the 1980s, thanks to that little mess. 1981 is an abomination on baseball’s records.

@@jameshanus3813 The Braves' record for their last 54 games was 36 and 18 which is a .666 winning percentage, which would be 108 wins in 162 games, 1 more than the Giants' 107 wins, 2 more than the Dodgers. It's a cherry picked split, but that was when the team became a Unit.

@fernando saavedra jr You do know that's a falsehood, right? I just turned 40 and I have always had to present an ID to vote. You need ID to drive, buy cigarettes, have a beer, own a gun, so why would anyone have an issue with needing ID to vote? Atlanta lost the All-Star Game based on a lie, it was given to Denver, whose voting laws are very similar, so winning the World Series is the ultimate revenge.
@fernando saavedra jr Haha, guess who has "stricter" voting laws...I'll name at least 2 democratic states for you. Educate yourself and stop letting the media control your thoughts. The voting laws aren't suppressive.

@@shimmeringfairydust3275 YES!! Cubs blew a 3-1 lead in that series as well, But ive always been a Dusty Baker fan from his playing days with the Dodgers and ironically the Braves, Plus Dusty is a former Marine, Good man. 🇺🇸
@@JayDogTitan-he6wo He’s a great guy. I do hope he gets a WS crown soon.
Congrats to the Braves from LA. Great ballplayers.
Love Freddie’s reaction when he caught it 🔥
I can see the statue already
almost the same reaction when he caught it to go to the world series, awesome
Can't wait for March 31, 2022 for Trevor Plouffe to make his next prediction.
Congratulations to the Atlanta Braves -- so well deserved and really well played. 88 wins and a beauty!
Yeah, the Braves were a 100+ win team disguised as an 88 win team, and it definitely showed in the playoffs
@@arctic2786 Their second half record was good enough to be only a win or two behind the Dodgers if they did the same in the first half I think
Congratulations Braves, thank you for bringing back old time baseball! The Braves might be my second favorite team now after the Rays. Go Tampa!
Like to see Dodgers and the Rays in WS in full ballparks or Braves and the Rays.
First time I watch the Braves play was 1987 after that i moved to California and still watching that's my baseball team Congratulations you deserve it.
Love watching this again and again! Hearing the Chop over the Astro crowd!! Seeing Swanson and Freeman end it!!! Love it!
Never gets old watching this. GO BRAVES!!! WORLD CHAMPIONS!!
Soler’s 3 run homer and the final out still give me chills. I was only 1 when they won in 1995 so this was awesome to see. Go Braves, Chop On!!
Way to go Atlanta! Who needs the All Star Game? You have a world championship!!!
@fernando saavedra jr no response I see
@fernando saavedra jr get informed. You have been lied to by the media. ID should ALWAYS be required to vote.
@fernando saavedra jr Haha, guess who has "stricter" voting laws...I'll name at least 2 democratic states for you. Educate yourself and stop letting the media control your thoughts. The voting laws aren't suppressive.
How can you not love baseball? Most beautiful sport on earth. Go braves 🪓!! Life long fan. So happy right now.
It’s such an elegant game. And I love the statistical aspect. Patience and appreciation are important.
@@shimmeringfairydust3275 absolutely
As a diehard braves fan Hearing joe buck yelling the “THE BRAVES ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS” had me in tears🥲
But they’re not. They are simply the World Series champions. No disrespect here - love the Braves- but ‘World Champions” is an incorrect moniker bcz there is no such title.
@@shimmeringfairydust3275 Really with that???
@@13PanteraX Yeah, I know. Pet Peeve. Until we have a proper competition with each nation’s best (not, for god’s sake, the pathetic World Baseball Classic or the even more laughable Olympics competition), it’s the World Series Champion, NOT the World Champion. Didn’t see the Dominican National team in there, although a bunch of their players compete in the MLB.
@@shimmeringfairydust3275 the BRAVES are WORLD CHAMPIONS
Except we actually just unleashed the entire Soler System on Houston...
In the year that the greatest Brave of all-time passes we get our first championship 26 years.
Incredible.
This one's for you,Hank!!!!
The Braves beat the Astros in the 1997, 1999 and 2001 NLDS.
Congratulations to the Braves on winning the 2021 National League World Series!
record vs Astros
4-2
That 99 series with Houston was epic too .. I still remember that Walt Weiss play
Congratulations, Braves! Well done. From Dodgers country.
The Georgia sports curse has finally ended!!!!🍾🍾🍾 Go Braves!! Dawgs is next!!
BOOM!Exactly.
@John Doe which made them the 60th best soccer team in the world… that team had nothing on the real premier league teams. The difference her is that the Braves are the best team in the world
Yes sir!
Atlanta is now the CITY OF CHAMPIONS!
@John Doe there’s like 2 players on Atlanta United who would even be able to make the roster on a premier league team lmao. Atlanta United winning the championship is the equivalent to a G-league team winning the championship.
I cannot stop crying. I am so happy right now. Go Braves!
This was just a completely dominant win by the Braves. Pitching, hitting, they completely outplayed the Astros this World Series.
And they never gave up!
Last night was so wonderful. I hugged my family and gave them a big kiss. Told them if they worked hard for their dreams anything is possible. Woke up this morning and realize people still watch baseball. Who knew? 😂
I love hearing such a loud tomahawk chop for an away game. Go Braves!
been a braves fan since i was 13, now 41 i remember alil bit of the 1995 title... but man oh man 26 years of waiting and waiting, ups and downs.. i wont lie.. some say its just a sport... but on that final throw by swanson, i cried i wont lie, i was like is this real... wow
I’m only 12 and been a Braves fan since 2015, but I will forever remember this team.
Young man I'm so glad you got to witness this. Great feeling isn't? Go Braves!!
I was very young when they won their first WS. Enjoy the fandom man. It has its ups and downs, but they’re worth it.

I began to appreciate the Braves in the 90s when I had the TBS channel and I watched many of their games of that decade, that is when I became a fan when they won all those pennants, in the 2000s I didn't follow the team as much, but i'm really happy that they won again the world series with a new generation of players, they deserve to win it with solid pitching and clutch hitting the entire series. Congratulations my beloved Atlanta Braves !!
8:05 EST games! America’s team! Ted Turner! Loved them as a kid & still do!
@@shimmeringfairydust3275 Exactly !! And 1:05 PM telecasts on Sundays at home, how can I forget that era of Atlanta Braves baseball, the broadcasters were excellent specially Skip Caray, great narrator !!
And in the playoffs it is impossible to forget that great comeback win against the Pirates in 1992, the slide of Sid Bream to score the winning run to qualify to the world series !! One of the most exciting moments in the history of baseball !!
Atlanta the best team for sure, congratulations to you.
Congratulations Atlanta Braves.
I have been with you since the team went from " worst to first "
I believed your team , staffs and other groups could be World Champions.

Yep, we see y’all again. I know LA will win the West next season and my Bravos will see each other in the NLCS.
This was a long time coming. I still remember Tom Glavine, Game 6, 1995, with a 1-0 shutout. Last time this Braves fan was really happy. Until now.
Congrats Braves on winning your WS title, the Astros have been tough on my Royals, good to see someone beat them, from a Royals fan
I grew up watching Braves greats like, Smolts, Glavin, Andrew Jones, Chipper, Rocker. This is wonderful.
Don’t forget Maddux and Franceour!
Seriously? Who's gonna remember a guy who failed to get 5 Cy Young awards in a row? Come on man!
Finally Braves, you did it after years of frustrations. Let's go !

I Cried The Whole Time My Braves Has Finally Won A WS Champ Ring Back Home ❤️⚾💙
It was bitter sweet to see my team win the World Series. My year stated out bad I lost my mother in February, but watching the Braves Season just kept my spirit up. Seeing them go threw playoffs and then winning, it was great. I just wish my mother was here celebrating with me.
I could watch this every day. A memory that I hope my kids will not soon forget. Watching it with me, much like myself watching with my dad in '95. Go Braves.

I'm an astros fan, why would i be crying? They still proved how good they are without cheating.
This was the longest inning of my life. Go braves.
Grew up a Braves/Phillies fan after moving from the suburbs of Philly to the suburbs of Atlanta. Been waiting 9 1/2 years for this and it finally came!
Skip Caray is looking down on this from heaven screaming "BRAVES WIN!! BRAVES WIN!!!! BRAVES WIN!!!"
Man so true, what about Hammerin' Hank? In the year of his passing.. so fitting.
I've going thru a lot of stuff in my life past couple years, it's been so tough, but every now and then when I'm feeling kinda down, I'll go back and watch moments from the World Series in 2021, even if it's a very short amount of time, it makes me feel better, the Braves winning the World Series, it's one of my favorite memories, not just as a lifelong baseball fan, not just as a lifelong Braves fan, but as a lifelong fan of sports as a whole
Thanks for posting. I've loved the Braves since I was a little girl. This year's Braves went through so much this season. Well deserved.
As a UGA and overall Georgia sports fan, I had to come back to this after the Dawgs got throttled by Alabama last week to ease the sting a little. Lol
I find myself replaying the final out over and over. Hearing Joe Buck saying emphatically "the Braves are World Champions!" while at the same time hearing that tremendous roar of the Braves fans there in Houston brings tears of joy to my eyes!
Over a month later and this is still bringing me to tears. Skip, Pete, Ernie, Sr, Phil, Don, Hank, Bobby, and every Brave who came after the 1995 season, this one is for you!!!
I remember watching the Braves as a kid. I was 11 years old when they won their last championship. Now 26 years later at the age of 37, I had the immense pleasure of seeing my Braves play the underdog role perfectly and did what no one thought they would do at the halfway point of the season. Congratulations Braves!! Freddie, Snitker, and that whole organization deserved this championship!!
Will never get tired of watching this. Fabulous!
I was at work and slammed my hand on a desk so hard thought it broke. Waited 26 damn years for this
Over a month later this is still so heart warming to watch. It is still sinking in....this really happened.

When they made the final out, I fell out of my chair laughing with such joy. It had been a long time coming. THIS IS HOW WE CHOP!
A World Series that will last a lifetime! I started following the Braves in 2002 and never saw them get past the NLDS until the Covid year then this whole ride to the title while I was preparing to get married was just special.
