Bro I love your way of explaining. The dedication ✨ you are a determined person & I'm eager to see you achieve great heights with your tutorials Gonna binge watch them
Thanks for tutorial Jacob. I made a video where Christmas decor gradually appears on the plane, but how can I hide this plane in compositing? The plane is not visible in the render preview, but in the final render it is there. I created another plane to make it shadow catcher or holdout ,but it still didn't help. It works in simulation but not with geo data
@@smeil1899 🤦♂Really? How do you make plants or something else gradually appear on an empty object? I didn't know about it.I need to try)).I managed to solve this problem using the old method of adding a shadow
@@JacobForyThanks for replying and having such a great tutorial! I’m terrible with geo nodes. So if you happen to randomly test it out let me know! Appreciate it:)
My simulation is working thanks to you but the object has the flowers and grass already on it and, instead of exposing the grass the plane exposes the object. Basically it's inverted fr some reason
I had the same issue, dont know why, but the solution is being super accurate playing with numbers. My setup for moss: 1.39 2.34 14.7 0.04. So lower your numbers and it should help (I guess). And multiply with a lot bigger numbers like 200 So experiment but in smaller scale, I hope it will help🤞
@@russelmiranda7844 ahh, so the map range is what you need to change, i believe the last settings on the map range is what decides the scale, so just invert those
why my moss is less than you on the first step set 0.010 same as you but the moss don't show nothing, even on 0,100 just show 1 point that attach on the object
Why when i connect the noise texture with the color ramp to the density the moss disappears ? i litterly move all the values of the noise texture and the colorRamp but nothing happens ! HELP ME PLSS
@JacobFory I am also having this problem and that isn't fixing it, any other ideas? or do you think it's an issue with the version of blender? (I'm using 4.3)
Hi! Great tutorial. I have a problem when I apply the Geometry Proximity node. The instances are huge, and I don’t know how to make them proportional. Could you help me, please?
Heyy, I have everything working right until the instances. When I click seperate children, reset children, and then pick instance, nothing happens! I'm a bit lost, please help. I started the scene from scratch, so not sure what's wrong... I'm using Blender 4.2 LTE

use empty duh

Is there a way to have multiple effectors going off into different directions?
good question, i have no idea but it might if you duplicate the setup and connect these two with math node

how can i do the slow motion trick ( like your final result )
it was just slowed down in davinci resolve
