What makes someone Dalit (untouchable) in Hindu caste system in Nepal?
@@srzsrz2049 their birth. I had dalit friends and after I became slightly mature, I noticed that discrimination. One time my teacher humiliated him in front of class and I laughed but later after I was separated from him. I knew I was wrong.
Their birth makes it. Mainly we have bahuns(brahmins), chettri(smaller than bahuns), gurung, magar (people with mongoloid face) and dalits
. People hesitate to marry dalit, share resources with them and overall maintain good relations with them. Dalits eats buffalo, pigs which bahuns don't eat. However it is probably not same in urban areas
You can’t call them Bhutanese as they weren’t from Bhutan ? They came from Nepal in the early dates and settled there and was sent back to their country while they weren’t doing good in the foreign soil.
Going against Bhutan, king and their sovereignty is a threat and crime and terrorism act. No offense but they don’t look like a Bhutanese, they are simply Nepali.

Everyone in Bhutan knows it from before. Bhutanese ID cards were stolen and were in huge demand in Blackmarkets for those so called " Refugees". The amount of people in refugees camps were in shocking numbers. For those people it was a lottery bumper to resettle in western countries. They dragged everybody in the neighbouring areas to fill up those refugee camps to make up the numbers to qualify for refugee status. Anyways it was UNHCRs issue. Bhutan is and will always be peaceful country. Report has it that a student from Kathmandu, Nepal who studied in Bhutan and has nothing to do with refugee crisis got hold o Bhutanese ID card and got resettled in US and has become prosperous business man in Kathmandu.
