I have also this Piece of very good Receiver. It works very well. The only thing i have repaired ist to Change Lambs :) The sound of this Receiver awesome. Thanks for the very good Repairvideo. I don't no why the Transformer Coil will damaged.
That was a great job. Unless you’ve actually gone through that full alignment, you won’t appreciate the amount of fiddling that goes into it. Well done. The very lofty mention left me blushing, but thank you 😊 Good luck with the meter repair. Hope one of the transformers does the job.
I have the 2000 and the 2100. (original) restored.. Do you have in your country also 9 KHz IF on AM like here in West Europe? Is there an USA AM IF version with 12 KHz or more? Like to have more bandwidth on AM and SW, because we have here already much stations with 12 KHz bandwidth.
Hello, I watched the 2 Grundig videos and then had to lie down for an hour. Great videos. Listen, I have one of these - I live in Maynooth. Would you fix mine. I have others as well if you would like to make them a video. We can discuss by email if you wish. Thanks.
Hi Matthewmark, If you e-mail me (detail on the "About" tag) the model and symptom I will let you know if I can look at it. Then you can drop it over to me in Rathfarnham.
Hello dear friend, could I have the schematic of the satellit 2000 with the capacitors marked to fix the audio problem? I have the same problem on mine. Finally, I am looking for the smeter of the signal that has broken could you help me? thanks for your online work.
The schematics are available from www.radiomuseum.org The capacitors replaced were all the electrolytic capacitors in the output stage I think I replaced 4 or 5 of these. As regards the S meter mine is faulty also.

Great. We like the Grundig Satellit very much. We have a Satellit 2100 and 3000 and we are hearing radio each day.

Old redio gold 🪙
Antique super redio
the 452 kHz was standard throughout western Europe. The UK/IRL had different frequencies due to interference prevention
I wonder what the source of interference was, in order to force a change of I.F.
I had a bad technical for my Grundig Satellit 700 here in Germany
I use rubber glue or Evostick
