Hi, I bought this kind of paper and it is very smooth, is it defective or should it be like this

Do you have Fabriano Artistico Hot Press paper? That’s what I drew the dog on. Hot Press paper will look smoother than Cold Press paper but still has enough tooth to take lots of layers of pencil.
