A full process might be nice, but I love the length of this video! Well done! Perfect narration too! And I love your watercolor! Really captured the colors!

Thank you for the feedback - I would like to work up to a full real-time process video eventually.

Aquarellfarben, das klingt immer so leicht. Aber das ist es nicht. Bei mir geht fast immer irgendetwas schief, aber es kommt darauf an, was man damit macht. Du macht das super! Mir gefällt das sehr, auch das Video an sich. Weiter so!

Does the watercolor technique have to wet the background paper every time before painting?

@@vasili55-t5h no, it depends how you want the paint to blend. I find for the light washes it’s helpful to have a wet page to allow different tones to mix together. I’m working through a hot rod video and I found a dry page was helpful for some of the car’s body work.

Love this train painting. And I cannot believe you got those letters done so well w that big brush! Well done. You have command of your brush, that’s for sure. It’s nice to see you learning new things and analyzing as you go. I have painted for a long while and am still learning-there’s so much to keep seeking w watercolors. That is for sharing!

Thank you Jessica - it’s a fun learning experience. I just got my first pad of arches and I’m enjoying playing with lots of water and pigment.

I absolutely love your train! Can I ask you? I am doing an house portrait on a 14 x 12 and can only find a print shop with a 12 x 12 flat bed for printing, what do artist do if they want to make a good copy to share of their art work? do I make a picture to print? thank you in advance if you can help. 😊

Thank you! I’m not sure I’ll be much help re printing as I’ve never done flat bed printing - is it 12x14 feet? Someone else perusing here might know.

@@AGsBlog_ Hi, thanks for your quick reply, no the copy would be in inches. I am guessing take a digital picture then print it the size I need, thank you, again.

If you just started with watercolors - the outcome is nice. Train looks like a nice piece of machinery too. :-)
