RickGrimes41 it worked really well on the album but Corey admitted himself that the vol 3 scream technique was too difficult to do and ended up hurting his voice. He finds the lower growls more comfortable to do and he's better at it.

People can say what they want... Bur for me, this is the greatest sing of all times... Of course, there's people of stronger voices, calmer voices, etc... But he can sing it all, any kind of music

Yup, he had the Vol 3 voice until around 2007. One of my favorites eras for high screams (on his good days), not so great for lower screams.
