This game is something that should’ve been made ages ago. 2022 is definitely a great year for rpg fans. Between this and Starfield alone things are already incredible
You should start out as a first year and it should have been a MMORPG. This is awesome also but I mean come on.. nobody working on a Harry Potter MMORPG is like looking a gift cash cow in the mouth.
It looks like somebody finally made good wand combat in a Harry Potter game, thank God dude. So many Hp games and every single one has combat that is just disappointing, but this looks very promising. Everything I’ve seen looks absolutely fantastic, I seriously can’t wait for this game. I’m glad they’re taking their time to get this right

Tbh the combat system looks really sloppy for me, Its probably due to this being a gameplay reveal, the game´s not fully made yet, but most enemies are standing still or just not doing anything. Also I would love to see the full set of spells for the game, cause some of the spells look really cool, but some others look "too op" for an HP game. Still, really great and Im really hyped about this release

It’s been 84 years, and I can still smell the Butterbeer. The marauders map had scarcely been used. The corridors had never been crept in. Hogwarts was called the School of Dreams, and it was.
Wasn't sold at the beginning, but the more I watched, the more of a Fable feel the game gave me. Never been a Harry Potter fan, but I loved the first Fable, and near the end, I could see how much love was put into this game. Will definitely be keeping my eyes on this one.
It's the kind of single player rpg that I enjoy, definitely interesting. The dynamic weather is impressing and the world looks rich. Also, taking place in a familiar and beloved franchise is helping the game a lot. Although I don't know if leaving all the original canon characters out of the story is a good or bad call, guess we will need to find out.
@@AFV1891 Time Turner would be dumb. I think it would have been interesting if the game was set around the time Lord Voldemort first rose to power in the first wizarding war. Doesn't have to be when the maurauders were at hogwarts since the War went on for a couple of years after they left.
1) They weren't even born yet 2) We've seen the OG characters in the movies and read them in the books - a game about them isn't going to add anything and in fact will make it harder to live up to expectations.
Considering that they show the plants requiring almost 30 minutes to grow in your garden. I imagine it'll soon go along a microtransaction route as well. Most likely there'll be options to buy materials, new clothes and speed ups for things like plants.

I am very interested in the day/night cycle for this game, an how your wizard progresses! But more specifically exploring the castle and the off grounds in the day vs exploring the dangers of those settings during the evenings. I also wonder if it's like Rockstars "Bully" game in terms of skipping classes, and if you can get caught by prefects, or duel them. So happy to be back exploring Hogwarts again!
This game would need to surpass the Witcher 3 and Elden Ring which will be hard hopefully they can pull it off but it won't be easy so best to have low expectations and wait for the release before ringing the bells
Idm microtransactions in the form of cosmetics, so long as you get a decent array of cosmetics to start with. You pay for a full game you deserve a full game worth of cosmetics, but extras ontop of that idm
I hope we can choose our character's voice, it's the only thing bothering me in this trailer. The way he says "Accio" seems so emotionless. The other characters' look all amazing. Kinda missing the old "FLIPENDO!!" About the multiplayer, I really don't think it's super necessary (although an PVP mode would be a blast) as people think... I remember the fun I've had with the old HP games, even with it flaws. I really think they mixed all the good things about the old games and turned into a real masterpiece that all the fans (and non-fans, it's never to late to experience the Harry Potter Universe.) have ever wanted and deserved. Loved it! BUT... I think combat could be better: Effects are awesome but group fighting still seems like 1 on 1. Assassins Creed 1 is a good example (put to the extreme, of course) where there are 5 enemies but only 1 attacks you while the others wait. In 7:54 you can see this, like enemies take turns to attack (plus, the dude just walks and waits for his death). I know it's a state of play, some things are still in development and it's supposed to be a friendly introduction to the genre (in other words, it's not supposed to be a Dark Souls game), but I hope they understand that effects and lights don't necessarily add dynamism to a fight... I hope it includes an option to increase the difficulty level other than just adding life and stamina to the enemies. Just that!
Only thing missing is Quidditch it seems. Honestly with all the features they've added like personal housing etc. I genuinely would be shocked if Quidditch was absent from the game. Hopefully it's being saved for another announcement trailer.
