Beautiful story of a future timeline that humanity could find itself.
I really enjoyed the story and hope that somewhere in the reaches of space we will meet others from other worlds so that we can share our lives with them and vice versa.

What happened to the three Zalarian Empire ships and the Zalarians aboard the Horizon? Why didn't the Zalarian's just go to Draxelon and take Flix seeing how weak they and the humans are?

Very precious and of great importance to our society, yet found on a random planet injured and malnourished. Yup super precious and important.
First thing I though, went Commander Talara spoke.
Did they fight the Zalarian ships? Take the Zairean officers aboard their ship prisoner?
Who the hell thinks it’s okay to board another’s ship uninvited and without asking permission to board?
Where did the IGPC go? No help when 3 Zalarian ship showed up? Where were they going in a shuttle? Shuttles are limited in distance. So many questions.
A story of a space battle with the Zalarians, out number 3 to 1, then aided by the hidden Ancient Vix (same are creatures as Flicks?), to turn the tide, would have made this even better. With Commander Talara’s ship and one other captured and the enslaved Vixian’s freed and returned home.
Then more diplomatic negotiations, for the release of the captured Zalarians and enslaved Vixians, with Commander Talara vowing vengeance; some people never learn.
A GREAT & WONDERFUL story.... it soothes the soul! Thank you!

They found him *on* Draxelon. So how come, when they returned him there, the council was all "he's been lost to us for ages due to those darn Zalaxians?" If anything, he was lost to them due to the earthlings, who took him off his home planet to take care of him instead of stabilizing him in Draxelon's orbit and then looking for signs of intelligent life on the surface where they might drop him back off with someone. (There's a mention later of large buildings, so it couldn't have been too hard to spot where the other Vixians were.)
Also, what happened to those galactic peacekeepers? If they left the ship alone with three Zalaxian ships threatening them, despite insisting that Vixians are extra special important, they aren't very smart. If they didn't, then why did they sit there doing nothing when the Zalaxians attacked?
I liked the flavor of the story but the writer needs to be more careful with their details.
Even if it were alien, if it is a Puppy ... I'd take care of it and love it ... 💛

This is very similar to another RUclips video about a crew from earth saving some woman soldier from another planet. They just substituted a dog like alien .

I enjoyed the story but some things don't add up. How did the Zalarians know Flixs was on the human ship? Why leave a full sized warship and run around in a fragile shuttle?

Upon coming home to Earth, the good soldier couldn't wait to take his new pet for a walk around the 2 local home supply stores. The important part of any audio book is a narrator who can put color into the reading with expression. Otherwise, you only have bland, tasteless, dialogue. Using AI to narrate is to leave out the salt. Sort of a toffu bacon.
There needs to be a notice that the story is written by AI. Fourth graders write better. Algorithm still needs a LOT of work.
