I watched from Acadieville New Brunswick, smack dab in the center of its path. It was spectacular, total darkness for 4 minutes. 4:32 to 4:36 Atlantic time 😮.
That’s so cool. You got a full video of it. I live in the right spot where I get to see it but the darkness only lasts for two minutes where I live today what we did is I went to my mom‘s work until two. We went home. We got on the roof. We started waiting and watching the solar eclipse and then my dad came in sort of in the middle when it was happening and climbed up on the roof and watched is the best moment of my life and we’re so lucky. It’s a total solar eclipse because it only happens every 375 years. We’re also lucky that we got what’s called a double ring basically when the moon fully covers the sun, it shows a ring around the moon but then there’s a little circle at one spot representing the diamond and we had a double one because when it was happening and the moon was going in front of the sun and when it was going away from the sun. we got to see it another thing where we lucky is because two more years we’re gonna have another solar eclipse not a total one, but it’s still gonna be cool sorry for whoever had to read this all
Volume 2, Book 18, Number 165: Narrated Abu Masud: Allah's Apostle said, "The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of someone's death or life but they are two signs amongst the signs of Allah, so pray whenever you see them."
To be fair, I’d rather be the one watching that my kids don’t look at the sun than trusting a teacher to keep an eye on 25-30 of them. Besides, I want to share this with my kids. It’s a beautiful experience.

Did the moon cross the sun or did the sun pass the moon for the eclipse to happen?
nice!
i missed it because of stupid school >:)
It was awesome!!🌕☀️🌌💚
That was some emergency that kept my kids home from school ....what absolute nonsense
Fr
Agreed..this was no emergency lol..such disconnect.

It looks like the sun and moon are the same size.
The sun is actually 400x bigger, but coincidentally 400x farther away. Geometry is cool.
i missed something rare
Couldn't see it in edmonton 😔
You will in 20 years.
