I have my Husky backpack for more than 5 years. It is so reliable. Not only I use it for tools and equipment. When I travel, my Husky backpack is a must. It seems like it is unbreakable.. And I got it for 20 bucks in Home Depot.. I do recommend this brand to everyone.
I've had this set about a year. Some minor gripes about this set: 1. The lid does not hold wrenches securely, the wrenches tend to fall out of their holders so when you open the lid they are all over the place. This problem gets worse over time as the holders lose their grip more and more. 2. There is almost no space for any extras, things like vice grips, wire cutters, needle nose pliers, can't be stored in the case, one extra empty drawer would have been nice for a few common hand tools. 3. Latches can break but no replacements are available. The two red latches break rather easily, Husky doesn't sell them so if one breaks you have to rig something ugly to hold the lid closed when you carry it.

Is the case covered by their life time warranty or are we SOL? I purchased this set over a different brand that’s a better deal strictly because of the box, i especially liked that the case holds the wrenches as well but it doesn’t seem that great according to you. Granted this set will not be travelling and will strictly be in my garage, I’m hoping the box and holders stay good longer.
You get a 5/8 and 13/16 spark plug sockets with the set . The other drawer you get a bunch of sockets 1/4 and 3/8 I think the actual prices $199.00 around Christmas time it's $99. I bought one last Christmas.
Yeah I hear what tour saying buddy. And yeah, it is really portable which makes it really nice. That handle on top is great. As always thanks for the comment bro
I have the $99 set husky sells now....box clasps to close it are junk....its a great go to set in a jam. The draws are ment to be taking out to be put in a tool chest.
I just want to know if it is durable. IDGAF if it's shinny I need it to do jobs not look pretty. Can it do the job is what I want to know. I had a duralast tool set and that was solid. Just got stolen. Now I see this one but the price scares me because of the you get what you pay for. So I want to know if I decide to buy this is it gonna snap if I use a breaker bar.
I've been using these in just about every impact driver review since I've had them not one has ever given me issue, but if they did, they have a lifetime guarantee at the home depot. Dont even need a receipt
Really interested in this husky set. I will be import this to the uk. My only concern is how does the warranty work for international buyers. Can anyone give me some info on warranty.
I am really surprised to see 12 point sockets on the 1/2" drive.its must of been cost saving but I can see alot of rounded off bolts.im switching that part off the kit and It will be a heck of a set to build off of.in the harbor freight tool box for the diy person.thats my intentions with it.
Whenever I take a broke husky tool to my local home depot they harass me and try to get rid of me. I don't have that problem with lowes, ace craftsman and even, now, harbor freight. They happily give me a new tool without harassment
Thanks for the wonderful review. I have one query that in the tools list they mention the combination wrenches sizes 1/4"-3/4" but here i can see the 7/8" also. Is 7/8" combination also included with the set or not?
Man no shit ilike craftsman but their boxes suck. The door that keep the slider close. Always break and you pick up the box and everything falls down😂 had that shit happen to me like 3 times. So i decided on buying husky and got this tool set. And i mean its not the best of best . But its in the same level of kobalt and craftsman for the price. Or even better
Anyone saying this is the best you can buy, can not afford to buy the best you can buy. These are mid-range Chinese crap...at best. No self-respecting mechanic in the shop would ever enter a proper shop with this set. If you're working on the lawnmower in the back yard...OK, I can see that but don't go lying to people saying this is the best. Oh, BTW, these are 12-point sockets that are BANNED in most shops as they strip out more bolts than they loosen. The only time they are allowed is if you have the rare 12-point head bolt. If you're in high school, on a budget or rarely need to use tools then this may be the set...among many cheap Chinese sets...to choose from. Otherwise, save up and get a quality set if you're going to use them professionally. Pisses me off to see people promoting crap as the same quality as professional tools. I see more jobs in my shop caused by cheap tools, internet mechanics and youtube videos.
You only showed how to use one tool, the rachet, it would be much better to demonstrate how to use the screw head; the extention bar; etc. The purpose of the video is lost for people who want to know how to use the tools.
Buy Here homedepot.sjv.io/n6yD6
Iv had one for two year overall best tool set you can buy, literally
Got my set of tools on Feb 20, 20 for
$ 99 dlls ... I am impressed 👍🏼

Just got mine about a month ago for 149. I love it even tho my 10mm wrech under the lid has happened to grow legs like the sockets normally do.....
Bought this and I am really satisfied with the quality and I definitely get more that enough for the bucks spent. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the comment Paul! Yeah, definitely happy with these
Sir its price? I am from Pakistan can i order this?
Get it through the Home Depot Umar. I do not sell these. The link is in the description
Solid set. Love that case, I like that the bottom drawer will come out without the top trying to fall down.
Yeah Kenny, the case is really nice and you can take the shelve with you if you want. Best part is, no questions asked if you need to return something
Tool Review Zone it’s a pretty good value as is but HD runs really good sales on these all the time too.
Yeah, it's their brand so they are probably doing everything they can to stomp out craftsmen at lowes now. Will probably see more deals soon on them
Just picked up a set today to carry in my truck. It looks perfect for my needs.
Yeah still on sale for around $120. Cant beat the price for what you get
Yea the price , warranty, and carrying Case really sold me.
@@LoudMercury Y ou can buy it for $99 at HD right now

It would be nice if they stop skipping sizes. I think it’s a nice carry in the vehicle toolbox

I need this in my life

Great review! I am hoping to pick one of these up after Christmas or sooner if they do go on a Christmas sale...
Hi Alison. They actually had them priced at around $120 last week. Not sure if they are still at that price?
Thanks@@ToolReviewZone I will go check! Hopefully they still are.
Just looked and seems they still are.
$99 on sale today
Any answers as to where to get replacement closing latches on box? Also drawers slide out easily while carrying.
Should be apart of the warranty but they should be sold on Amazon or the husky website
This is going to be $130 on Black Friday ! Is this worth getting ?!?
I use them all the time, but last year they had them at $100. Long story short, yes absolutely
Tool Review Zone wait no never mind I just saw the price it’s at 100!
Does this come with a T-10?
Nice set from Husky
Yeah backwoods, use them constantly
Whenever I take a broke husky tool to my local home depot they harass me and try to get rid of me. I don't have that problem with lowes, ace craftsman and even, now, harbor freight. They happily give me a new tool without harassment
Wow, I would talk to the manager or call husky and let them know what is going on. Should not happen
not in my town
Thanks for the wonderful review. I have one query that in the tools list they mention the combination wrenches sizes 1/4"-3/4" but here i can see the 7/8" also. Is 7/8" combination also included with the set or not?
Husky tools are to underrated ther are way more home depots than hf or sears or lowes
Wish these came in all black :(
I know the impact sockets that we have a review for do. It's like a pearl black (tough looking)

Anyone have any creative ideas on how to lock this box? I have one but am afraid to take it to work

You dont know how to use a ratchet???
I bought a set of husky sockets and in my opinion, they are garbage!!!
Why? If anything breaks, as I understand it, you can take it to Home Depot and walk out the door with a replacement.
