Fuckin love these dudes. Just joy in a bottle. Such a positive, humble vibe- and an honest one, at that. Can’t wait till y’all make it back out to the PacNW!
I’ll be seeing Pigeons on 11/3 for the first time since 2019. Most of my jam band friends don’t really care for them so I may be going solo, that doesn’t bother me at all, the Pigeons bring the funk. Let’s be honest, Goose definitely stole some of their thunder because they are a better band but when Pigeons come to my town I’ll be there. 67 Days Until YEMSG.
The boys are on it from the first song. Can't wait to watch the rest of this show but I gotta go watch game 6 if the ALCS. See you in a little bit my peeps.
I have been a fan of Pigeons for a long time but many of their live performances can be "hit or miss". My biggest gripe is the lead singer often sings off key. But I have to say that this is one of the better live performances by far that I have seen. The music is tight and the performances are more in keeping with the tremendous talent in this group.
I saw them do this set in detroit a few days after this, and I've been going to pppp for years. There was one error and a weird sound thing, they were pushing tempo during posidens guitar solo, then afterwards, Greg was turned down for the rest of the song. For the amount of sheer improv they do, and the fact they just got off this covid break, I'm impressed.
I have to agree. I think you hit the nail on the head. This is a terrific live performance but I don't understand why the lead singer doesn't focus more on improving his vocals. I think audiences would take him more seriously if he did.
I was at this concert. Is “Day in time” their song? I’m still fairly new to pigeons & never heard this song from them before. This concert was amaaazing. Day in time really had me almost crying
They're really something. I just saw them on the third, for maybe the fifth time. They were always good, and they're getting better at a mind blowing rate.
This is the first I heard of them. Must've been one of those recommendations cause it just popped up, so I gave the Pigeons a chance & one & a half songs into it... Oh the reminissing of "Elenore Rgby"!!!... that I'm saving them to my nee playlist of "Bad Ass Jam Bands" because they are nust that!!!! Yours truly T.S. Orbit
Funny coming from a cheese head. They have the same freshman vibe sci has had for decades. Different sound but same vibe. It's like elementary school jam.

Tbh I think the kinda lackadaisical singing is part of their charm, agreed though this is one of, if not the, best shows I've ever seen from them.

The drumming...wowza I mean, it's all very very good, but that drumming...on point
gator is really good

yes it is, but it hasn't been formally released yet
Sister to digest the music & expirience it like that you, no doubt, have the proper dietary intake!

I couldnt handle an entire show of this. Apparently you have to be REALLY stoned.
or enjoy the light show as much, if not more than, the music.
@@RETSELEkim07834 amen. They jam hard and their lights are always spectacular!
Um, yes.
Funny coming from a cheese head. They have the same freshman vibe sci has had for decades. Different sound but same vibe. It's like elementary school jam.
Gtfo. I bet cheezhead z runs to the bathroom, leaves, or complains about eoto in the middle of cheese show
Lame
New age jam band rock sucks.
